Can I join the club? Same here, and in two occasions without touching anything. That´s down to 8 for me. What is going on with DCS 1.5 and MiG-21??:mad:

To be honest I was inspired by you.:D I also did some work in the MiG-21 template as well.:music_whistling: This MiG-15 one is almost finished, need to tweak the spec maps a bit more.

Still many tweaks to go, but so far is looking good.

The new features sure are cool, but in my case I probably won´t touch it until there´s a DCS level module of it. They can take all the money they want from me.:D

That´s so true.:lol: I would prefer the Indian Bison-93 though. That BVR capability can´t be dismissed.

I have real life experience, that´s why I´m asking for others to give their opinions. So far, I think that while in the ground and in cockpit it is as it must be, but once in the air or if you´re in the ground and another L-39 pass over you the sound is too strong. Like I said, it sounds like a MiG or Su.

Indeed, that behavior is not normal, but the module is still a WIP. I´m sure that will be revised.

The engine sounds while the aircraft is in the air are somewhat odd. Also when an L-39 makes a flyby over you, the sound of the engine seems to be wrong. The engine, even in higher regimes, make a very perceptible whistling sound. Right now the engine sound too MiG-29/Su-27ish. Did somebody else with experience had perceived this?

The MiG-29 all the way through modification 9.13S does not have a data-link. You can burn the web, find some people that can facilitate some original documents, but you´re not going to find anything. It´s just the SEI as an ILS repeater. That´s all.(and I don´t mean the ILS you all know)

Why not my friend? I think that the upgraded MiG-21 variants are a great addition to the sim, even if only we can have one of them. I sure will pay for an upgraded version. I don´t think we should get negative about the possibility.

I don´t know what you mean by "purely powered", but in the MiG-21 you can move the ailerons without having hydraulic pressure = booster aileron switch OFF. In the sim, when you disconnect the switch, ailerons don´t move and that should not be the case. The only thing that you can´t move without hydraulics are the stabilizers, that have an NP-27 emergency pump in case the main and booster hd system go offline. This is also not simulated yet in DCS MiG-21.

I´m waiting for the ground crew. Also, I think they should not do anything to the ac, just give them waypoints and use triggers, as infantry is now. The airfield comes to life suddenly!

I can confirm this.:thumbup: You should add that the ac has a built in mechanical stall warning system (the two little fences in the leading edges). Most people are not going to understand "stick talks to you"... :D

It was like that in 1.2.16 too. AI algorithms need to be tweaked I think. When battling the AI you just need to stay in the vertical.

It depend for ac to ac. Some are started by air pressure like the Saphir starter in the L-39 and others use a direct clutch like mechanism.
