  1. Hi all, Playing the F5 as my learn jets DCS platform. Got to the sidewinder tutorial and the audio lock indicator (growl) is almost un able to be heard. I have turned the missile volume up as far as it can go and still can hardly hear the thing. If it matters I am playing with a very good quality headphone set and have tried all kinds of its options (Mono, stereo, 7.1) etc...nothing helps. All the other sounds in game at great. In fact the engine sound is prob too loud. I looked around in the F5 sound folder and saw nothing I recognize to edit this setting either. Anyone have a way to make this work a little better? Also, I am away that tone varies and get louder when you get a better lock/solution. But its still insanely low. Thanks The Boog
  2. These are great but how does one make them able to be typed in (I.e. labels for the buttons)?
  3. Most of my available time is after 6PM on evenings (best days are Mon, Wed) and almost anytime of weekends. (Central Time) Still struggling to bind stuff and automate what I can (I.e. comms menus etc.) Going through Chucks Guide and the DCS Tutorials and making notes/questions
  4. Hi all, I am a pretty seasoned gamer that has decided to jump full deep end into DCS. But I am not "felling that loving feeling"... Pretty overwhelmed and looking for some mellow folks that don't mind new guys to play with and learn from. I have 100% top shelf gear and no issues with being an adult etc. I am not good enough, nor do I have the time to do full Mil Sim yet (maybe someday). I live in Central Canada and speak English. I own most of the DCS content (I mentioned the "deep end" right?) and am mapping my controls and doing some basics in the F5. Look forward to connecting with some people. Later Boogaboo

  8. Hi all, Old to DCS but kind of noob still. I have only played a decent amount of time on the A10C and hence am use to the detail level, options and campaigns etc. ...I.e. lots of immersion, lots to learn and lots to do once you get comfy. If the same true of the WW2 planes? Are there campaigns and fleshed out missions and training? Is there good multi player that is only WW2? Thanks in advance to any who take the time to educate a noob. Boog
