I went on a popular multiplayer server to play in multicrew with a friend today, but seem to have run into an issue where the tail and rest of the helicopter part ways with each other at random moments during the multicrew flight, leading to a dramatic demise. Issue happened two flights in a row while flying below 100 feet.

It does not flash anymore.

Has anyone had success with bombs in the Mi-24? More particularly, has anyone been able to deploy bombs while in a Multiplayer server and doing a Cold start?. I know it is possible and have been able to drop them in singleplayer but seem unable to drop them in Multiplayer.

This one sounds wack, but I seem to be able to get my rudder to center off-center (as if it is trimmed) while my rudder trim is off. Resetting my trim will properly center it again.

Hello hello, Some testing with my friends has proven that it seems impossible to fire countermeasures as the pilot in multiplayer. My findings are as follows: Tell Petrovich to prepare weapons -> Use pilot countermeasure button: Nothing happens. Join the pilot as a second player: The countermeasures panel has been set up well by Petrovich. You (As gunner) can fire off flares. The pilot will not see your flares. The pilot will not be able to fire flares on his own. As things are right now it quite simple looks impossible to pop flares as the pilot, thus decreasing battlefield survivability.

General question I asked about on the Mi-8 forums too, but I really hope we will be able to swap between front and rear seats on Multiplayer servers while flying without a human co-pilot so we can manipulate mission essential controls in both cockpits. Can anyone confirm whether this will be possible? Edit: The original topic is here: If you open it you will find out exactly why the inability to swap between seats will be an issue to those who desire to manipulate mission critical controls. I know the issue has already been flagged as non-intended behavior, but an update on whether this issue is rectified in the Hind will go a long way. Thanks in advance!

Only thing I'd add to this is that both the 7.62mm and the 12.7mm guns are Gatling guns, meaning you get a .50 cal that shoots at ridiculous rates of fire.

Why get hyped for these unannounced modules when you've got this to drool over??? -

As much as I want to see it I am aware multicrew for the Mi-8 is not currently in development as the Mi-24 takes precedent. However, based on experiences from the UH-1, I am going to address the following in the hopes the same mistakes will not be made whenever the Mi-8 gets multi crew (which it truly deserves). With the UH-1s current multicrew you are unable to swap seats after slotting into an aircraft in multiplayer, this means the right seat pilot can not swap into the left seat, even if he has no multi-crewed players with him. This is no major issue in the Huey as all essential systems can be operated from one seat but could become a major issue if the Mi-8 gets the same multi-crew system given certain systems for single-player operations are found in the left seat (weapons etc) while others are found in the right seat (navigation, radio's). This would essentially make single-crewing Mi-8s on multiplayer servers either impossible or something you only do if you enjoy severe disadvantages. I am creating this topic to flag the issue and make it something developers are aware of when eventually making multicrew a thing for the Mi-8, please allow us to swap seats in the Hip when multicrew is enabled but no other human pilots are present, because you will otherwise burden those who do not have any friends.

This is a no brainer, the more easy to use functions we have the better!

The Viggen update we did not request, but certainly the Viggen update we deserve. Love it!
