  1. thanks for doing this and also thank you for answering my question, I had a good laugh :-)
  2. Am I the only one refreshing this website to see if it's up yet ? :)
  3. first thing I want to point out in your tracks, while assuming you are practising the landing and nothing else....you take it too seriously, getting permisions and all that...just start that bitch up and take off on the taxiway you rolled over while turning (thanks for the laugh) keep your speed at 200, descend from 2500 ft while keeping your velocity vector on the runway threshold and you are good.....practise practise practise, also there is a ton of videos on youtube if you still need help
  4. What inspired him to get involved with aviation? What was his funniest moment in the air? (besides that expensive, one of only 17 bombs on the base story he already told us)
  5. he talked about this, and also about the F-35 in his previous teamspeak session
  6. I made a homemad trackIR using Freetrack with IR plugin....the whole thing cost me 10€ and its working without any problem or lags or track loss or anything....I will never buy the real trackIR now search for homemade trackIR on google, you will find lots of tutorials, anyone can do it, and DCS is a lot more fun with it
  7. it's your choice really, when I am playing campaign, I always use ATC and I always land before exiting mission
  8. you can't slew your Skhval to the target automatically....no China Hat forward for you in Blackshark :-)
  9. DCS World is free, you get Su25T and TF-51 for free too, and as a starting point I would recommend Flying Cliffs 3 module...you get the F-15E, A-10A, Su-27, MiG-29...these don't have a clickable cockpit and they are pretty easy to learn...if you master them, you can get into A-10C or Ka-50 Blackshark, or any other plane/helicopter you like the most
  10. go to controls, select the aircraft you want, then Axis, then Zoom view (it is at the bottom), select it and press Axis Tune, move the Curvature slider left or right (depends on if you have it inverted or not)...I always set it to 18 (I have it inverted, as I am zooming in and out with my rudder slider on throttle)...I recommend to do this while flying single player mission, as you can edit controls while flying and set it up as you like it
  11. I want to go to Las Vegas. :-) thanks for doing this
  12. I have the Thrustmaster T.Flight Hotas X and no, it does not have that little mouse thing like the Warthog has, but I have absolutely no problem with it, I am able to fly the A10C without releasing the stick or the throttle (well apart from when I need to use the mouse to operate the MFD for example, but I saw ralfidude use his mouse rather than the throttle thingy).....as for the cursor on the radar in F15, I use a modifier and the HAT switch, works like a charm
  13. what are your settings for the Res. of Cockpit Displays in Options ? I have it on 1024, just played DCS 1.5.1 a little and I didn't have this problem......and please, pretty please tell me where is the tank in those pictures, I am looking at it for 5 minutes now and I can't see them and it's killing me :helpsmilie:
