campaigns are badass, but you can use mission generator, mission editor, multiplayer...depends how hard you want to impact your brain :)) campaign (hardcore), generator/instant mission (casual), multiplayer (casual and/or crazy, depending on server config and player base)

one a10c mfd = all clocks of p51 & then some :))) old birds are "easier" to model but the info for doing it, is hard to find ..why dcs WWII failed ? lack of solid data in the research :)

a10 is the only one having more control on speedbrakes, but you can visualize and hear their deflection..setup the throttle slider on top of boat switch..forward closed/aft open {forward click will always lock speedbrakes in place, both audible and tactile feel, realistic and handy setup} if you like to make your life complicated you could use a logic board and built a panel, search the forum with google if not, use the savage way and steal the laste/autopilot switch from hotas, solder a lan wire and glue it to your lever whatever :) soldering basics and don't use the hotas with cables powered :)

ILostSight ... boring system, good for fat airliners in xplane. Here is boring ASF to line up from miles away, if I go straight in to runway the next thing is to shutdown dcs ... almost always do 45, 90, 180 degrees turns to land, more fun and challenging.

add game master to your side blue or red, or both :P...set player controlable in ME {you can't control all vehicles, like command vehicles, radar, etc.}...right Alt + J to jump to vehicle after you click on it after mission start - F10 {you can't control static objects !} error will appear in left top corner "cannot enter vehicle, blah blah"

dcs does not like folders to just dissapear...could corrupt your entire installation...do a clean install and use skatezillas app to check and install modules/maps/campaigns.. if the manager stops working :) and for the love of sims do not mess with registry files ..

No problems, in 2 years with the warthog set and 6 months with T.Rudder, leds off, dissasembled and greased both, no use of t.a.r.ge.t. software ..."neat" way to burn your electronics if you have your devices always plugged in :( These new pedals are freaking expensive, more than the full hotas ?!?, gotta wait to see more details on the linkages, looks a bit overcomplicated and unnecessary, like some design stuff on the TRudder

i5, gtx 1080 ...thats your bottleneck right there...dont expect to run with it like i7, i9... remove the grass clutter, set trees to 50%, and visibility to high, shadow default/flat, no heatblur..you will see a huge difference :)
