Ryzen 9 5900X; RTX 3070; Vengeance memory 3600 48GB; NVME HD; HP Reverb G2, ASUS Prime B55OM-A MOBO. When I put ALL settings in VR to lowest or completely off, I only get 50-60fps. I even put pixel density to 0.5!!! Does that seem right to anyone? Yes, I played around with pre-load setting. Yes, I enabled all the available settings under PCIE in BIOS.

I only took out my CPU to put thermal paste on it (got an RMA on Corsair Hydro series). Now I have no start menu on DCS. When DCS loads in Oculus I just see a plane in a hanger and absolutely nothing else. Installing a new copy of DCS did not work either. I have seen this bug from others when I did a Google search. Am I doomed to wiping my system and installing a fresh copy of windows?

In the mission editor, when ever I try to take off from carrier parking I dont end up in my cockpit. Rather, I just see a map with Carl Vinson moving along the water. I notice that I do end up in my cockpit if I take off from runway though. Alpha version Dubai map F18 I have wasted a lot of time with this bug, among several others. DCS is really starting to get a lot of bugs in it and its getting annoying. It would be nice if I could just once play a mission without wrestling with some weird blip.

When I access the DL manager it does not give me the option to DL it. However, it does give me access to DL Nevada.

Just installed the latest (non beta) version of DCS world and not only is caucasus not installed, but I have no option to install it. I only have Nevada. Any ideas on how I can get caucasus???? BTW, can anyone confirm if the F-14 has a clickable cockpit... Im sure it does, but no description or review confirms this. I just dont want another neutered F-15...

Installing it on the same disk drive as the Beta is installed solved the issue..

What setting do I use so that I can turn my dispenser on and off with one button when it is set to S/A? I cant seem to find the "center" button if that makes any sense. In other words, I can start the dispensing but I can not stop it.

I just installed a fresh copy of DCS Alpha (after Beta crashed again from another update)... Anyways, I cant access my purchased planes and terrain. I get an error when I open module manager saying that the site could not be reached and to try again.. It has been 24 hours now, I think I have tried enough... Any suggestions???

Thanks for the responses. I will pay closer attention next time and deny updating or just stick to the Alpha release. Also, Windows is reading my rudder movement, I did not know I could check for that so thanks... For now I will reinstall DCS World...

I use a thrustmaster. The latest update seems to have disabled the rudder action on my stick. I start to cringe every time DCS updates... Any way we can disable them?

I can not even get AWACS to show up on my radio menu much less talk to them. I am setting up AWACS E-3A: Add/ Start Enroute Task/ AWACS Add/Perform Command/ Set Frequency (Ive tried many options both AM and FM) I made sure easy communications was set in the options menu. I have tried multiple planes. I have amazingly found nothing on google or you tube pertaining to AWACS in particular. I have probably setup 100's of JTAC missions in the past with A-10C so I am not a complete NOB when it comes to mission editor.

I have noticed screen tearing and many other graphics issues...

The latest update deleted all my controller settings and my generic USB controller is no longer detected... I see another post with similar issues... please send a fix before the weekend is over...

Often times I will hear the f18 start chocking like the engines are about to die. Anyone know what is causing this?

I have noticed several times now that I get blown up by a missile with no warning. As far as I can tell I have the SPO on and fully functional. Could it be that the enemy is using IR? Or is there something else I am missing?

I notice that when I assign the custom snapview 1 key (Lwin+1) to a button box I then have to have that button pressed to move the camera around the cockpit. In other words, before I assign the custom snapview 1 key I can use the assigned buttons on my button box to move the cockpit camera up and down and left and right. The second I assign a button on my button box to the custom snapview 1 (Lwin+1) I then have to have that assigned button constantly pressed (which is now in snap view) to move the cockpit camera around... this is very baffling to me... I have put a fresh install of DCS world on my computer after deleting all the game files and saved game files etc.... I am using Oculus rift too... Any ideas what is going on here and how to fix it?

Thanks for the replies. Are there any tutorials which show us how to use the instruments (without looking at the f10 map) to hunt down aircraft from bullseye or latitude longitude method? I am used to putting in 9-line into the CDU on the A-10C to find ground targets... what is the equivalent of this for air targets using Mig-21?

How do we get allies to call in air coordinates of enemy planes for Mig 21? How do we process these coordinates?
