  1. Yes an extension has been on my to-buy-list so will look into getting one. Thanks
  2. Mig-21 itself is a beautiful aircraft. I just hope they fix the bobblehead effect in this modules flight model.
  3. Thrustmaster Warthog, no extension but use curves
  4. I don't want the mig-21 to be on rails, that wouldn't be very realistic would it.. I just don't think the nose should have more movement energy than what energy I put into the stick. It takes ages for the nose to settle just from a slight pull back on the stick at level flight. It never did this in the older flight model.
  5. It is weird, it shouldn't do that at speed with it's aerodynamics, it should pretty quickly self centre not wonder around like it's a bobbing head. And I'm aware of other aircrafts and their flight stabilisations systems.
  6. Why does the mig-21's nose wonder around after stick input in level flight? It's like the nose is attached to rubber bands? Surely with all the air running over them set back wings it should fly as straight as an arrow?
  7. I think anyone using VR with an interest in aerobatics and general pure stick control will love this. With an accurate flight model it will be a great challenge of pure flight control.
  8. Yes been updated in open beta
  9. What's the difference in cockpit interface between them? Am I going to be able to stick a skin on and pretend it's a GR.7/9? :/
  10. Beer helps ;p My motion sickness lasted about 3 weeks, took a break whenever I got the feeling. Eventually you will need less breaks and then the motion sickness will disappear.
  11. I received my cv1 lastnight. Can only run it reasonably on low settings, could someone tell me if there is much difference between low and high settings? Also what are the main video settings that determine sharpness and clarity in DCS? Overall I'm happy with the cv1 but can tell I need to tweek it a bit to get right. I was very impressed with the cockpit in my mirage! It was beautiful, the colours and textures come alive. I am a little worried how viable it is for say ww2 dog fighting though, but that may be my settings not optimised yet. I also got some major motion sickness at first and nearly chundered over my desk! I probably should of started out with something a little more comfortable than high g maneuvers in a mirage!
  12. It takes a while to accelerate to maximum speed. I would take fuel tanks and drop them at the 12km height. Set auto pilot, engage full throttle, and go make a cup of tea.
