Getting up to 20 FPS loss in same missions , nothing else has changed in my PC other than the latest patch . ( running 1440p , RTX 2080 . i9700K , 32GB ram , SSDs ,WIn10, mostly high settings in game , Trackir ) Flying around the carrier went from 100 fps down to 80's ! ) .. new water looks good though !!

Regarding FM changes ... for me the Hornet doesn't feel as floaty in the final approach faze , which to me makes it easier to trap successfully ! Just wish we had a official SuperHornet !

Guys , I just tried disabling Game Mode in Win10 and I have had no crashes after running different missions , Quick start F18C case 1 in the Gulf , Conventional bombing in Nevada ,Strike Fighter in the Gulf , Banklers Landing Practice 7.0, followed by F14A dogfight in Caucasus all with no problem . ( Vsync off , Fullscreen enabled , as always )

Yes , exactly what I experience , I can play a few missions then when changing theater / map it stalls and I have to CTRL ALT DEL back to the Desktop .... DCS not responding in task manager , forcing a hard reset !! Usually happens in the F14A caucasus dogfight mission load !

Please can we have the F14A option for this excellent training mission Mr Bankler ? I would also love to have the spawn point for the inflight aircraft 10 miles + from the carrier ... to give us more time for plane setup and comms thanks

I concur , as I just tried a series of traps and cats on Bancklers supercarrier quals mission using 1/2 flap exclusively and it felt normal compared to full flap approaches ! Something has changed for sure !

Guys , good news ! DCS open beta now runs fine ! I removed the Kis2020 exception I had on edCore.dll on the off chance that it was updated in the latest OB update , ran the game and NO PROBLEMO's :)

Hi Guys I just updated to latest Open Beta with Super Carrier , BUT my Kaspersky Internet Security Suite detects a VHO:Hacktool.win32.Inject.gen object in DCS bin file edCore.dll and wont let me run the game without creating an exception for the file . ( without the exception the file is deleted ) Any advice would be welcome :) Thanks

Problem solved ! I also gave the DCS updater.exe some additional freedoms in Kaspersky , network and antivirus scanning exclusions over and above the default trusted settings. And I can now update without any problem. :thumbup:

Thanks but I get a HTTP error when launching the updater , and download is cancelled . All my Kaspersky settings are default , and all DCS programs are labelled as trusted .

Thanks , but this doesn't solve anything , Kaspersky and Bitdefender users shouldnt have to disable their protection to be able to play a product they have a lot of money invested in. ED need to be made aware of this issue .

Hi , I just installed DCS World 1.5 beta with no problem , however when I come to update and install modules I find the only way I can proceed is to disable my Kaspersky Internet Security during the download and installation. This is totally unacceptable in this current gaming environment ! My friend has the same problem with Bitdefender , no other product has this flaw , and we should not have to open up our system defenses to threats just to be able to enjoy a product we have payed money for . So please , give us a secure way of playing this great product .

Also , what AV apps are fully compatible with DCS currently ?

My Firewall is ok , the DCS exe's are all set as trusted apps . I have no problems with any other game / app ever ! Also my friend ( IT manager ) has to uninstall his bitdefender to get DCS to update !! I think this is a DCS problem.
