SA-342 Gazelle 2023 "FM" Update
leonsilver replied to Polychop Simulations's topic in SA-342M Gazelle
Here is an "interesting" video. Unfortunately, it is not of very good quality, but the instrument that is important to us is just visible. And what is even more surprising is what the uploader (presumably the pilot) writes at the beginning of the video: "During take-off and landing, you hardly need to use the controls, I mean the stick rudder and the pedals. There is almost no need to use the pedal, which, thanks to the fenestron, enables much more precise control." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fenestron -

The weapons are usable, only the Mistral is faulty, but this is not Polychop's fault. FM is a thousand times better than the old one, I really like flying with the new Gazella! But.. the FM is still WIP - don't forget that. -
the autohover WIP - it's been said a thousand times. Anyway, it's not difficult to fly, you just have to get used to the new FM

The Gazella's engine is 590 HP. This is not a war horse, but a graceful gazelle -

Mistral was good until the recent patch. ED messed something up in the patch (and NOT Polychop), because there was no patch for Gazella! -
The interesting thing is that it worked for me after the update. I wanted to use Mistral yesterday, I turn everything on and nothing happens. WTF???

I just love the new Gazelle! At first, the new FM was a bit strange, but once you get used to it, the machine gives you an amazing experience. Thanks Polychop! -

All I ask is that the flight model be as realistic as possible. If the Gazella behaves in life like it does now in DCS, then it should stay that way and only change if the current one is really not good. But don't change because we cry on the forum.. -
I don't know, I haven't tried it yet. But in the first post, you searched for a keybind, and it exists and can be set.

I don't use autohover. Trim, I move to the left seat and HOT3 can go. I loved the old Gazella too, but this new one is much better! And many things are even WIP! -

It's not because of the pedal, that's for sure. I have an MFG Crosswind pedal and I am also experiencing the problem you mentioned. -
I don't understand. See it on the key. Or what are you thinking?
