You need to line up a point of reference on your plane with a part of the tanker that has the probe in line with the basket and then slowly throttle forward: This video is a good example of that, unfortunately the HUD on the release build is different to the one seen in that video as it's the pre-launch press build so Mavericks tip doesn't apply anymore. I've been trying to figure out another point of reference to use but I've come up short so far. Anyone else have a point reference to share?

Wait, the ECM isn't functioning at all yet? I really wish the manual would say these things.

There's no keybindings. You select the ECM modes with a knob behind the stick: Main 3 modes are: STBY: Standby. ECM is on but not functioning REC: ECM will detect threats but not emit XMIT (as said before): Will (I believe) emit only when it detects a threat

Wording in the manual isn't 100% clear but I believe it does only emit when a threat is detected: "XMIT. System detects and displays threats and then uses active electronic attack."

Sorry if this has been asked and answered, but what is the visual line up reference? The HUD on release seems to be a lot bigger than the one shown in Mavericks video.

If this is a feature, then I'd like it to be optional. Closing one eye with a VR headset on is very uncomfortable so until VR headsets are better designed for this, let me use both eyes.

How do you re-centre the TPOD? It used to be the nosewheel steering button but that doesn't seem to work anymore.

For some reason the LMAV only locks on when I turn the Laser Range Finder on. If I just hit FIRE, the LMAV can't see it. Anyone else encounter this?

I checked both Chuck's guide and Redkite's video on the Radio and neither mention using it to enable the radio and when I load up a Hot mission, the manual radio doesn't work, anyway. What switch am I meant to hit to enable it?

I can't manually input frequencies into the UFC. I have the channel set to M but numbers do not show up on the UFC upper screen when I input them. Am I doing something wrong or is the manual radio still not working?

Hi, I think I may have got this sorted out. I suspected it was my old GTX 980 was the culprit as I know that 4GB of VRAM is outdated so I used this as an excuse to finally upgrade and get a 1080 TI and now the crashing seems to be gone (only played about an hour, more testing will probably be needed) but I think that it's sorted. Thanks the help anyway, Bignewy.

I know this sounds like saying "Just read the manual" but... get a head tracker. DCS without head tracking is like playing Guitar Hero without the guitar.

The big blue bit is the Ocean, that's where the Carriers go.

Sometimes it does that, sometimes it doesn't. I've had the pop up asking me if I want to zip it, but then sometimes the DCS window fully closes and the pop up disappears.
