Update: issues seems to be resolved after updating to the latest version of windows 10, something which i had been putting off.

Tried both of those, no luck.

I removed the old install that i updated and downloaded the open beta from the digitalcombatsimulator.com download page. the clean install tells me it's version 1.5.8.12162. still getting the same result with the new install.

as in forced to the open beta version.

I tried to play instant action missions and even placed a plane in the mission editor, and no matter what it wont put me into the pit. When the mission loads, i hit Fly and it makes the plane meant for the player into an AI controlled plane. Happening on the stable version install that i updated as well as a clean install.

As one of the guys that flew it Sunday with feefifofum, I just wanted to say i had a blast. It was utter chaos the first time we ran it, which I enjoyed, but the second time we got our act together. I love that you included an increased difficulty via the f10 menu. Props to you for making a great mission.

It seems to have increased chance of occurring when the pilot switches slots while the mission is paused, or it may just be conformation bias.

Had it happen to two different people, with bags on the airplane, when you tell the ground crew to remove all the fuel from the plane, it will sit there for a minute, then start to shake and eventually explode.
