I think you know what you have to do now. :pilotfly:
-
Absolutely. I have an untextured 3D model of the alien ship but I have no idea how to make it work in DCS.

Sales are pretty frequent but the Christmas sale hasn't started yet. It'll probably start around the 20th or so. I recommend buying all the ones you want then because apparently the prices are expected to increase. :'( Like said above, the sub-forum for the WW2 project is your best bet. Also the newsletter has information every once in a while, so if you aren't already subscribe to that. They have a new issue every Friday around 9:30am CST/-6 GMT. I.. I don't think he was asking about hardware lol.

Top down of the new plane focused on in the sequel.

[ame] [/ame] https://vid.me/lvBw I have to say... this trailer has me so excited like I literally can't put it into words. The first movie was just so exciting and those massive aerial dogfighting scenes, while unrealistic are so incredibly exciting. Is anyone else getting a Star Wars and Starship Trooper kind of vibe from this movie theme too?

F-18 grip, WARTHOG compatible

According to hegykc they are ready now, but he doesn't want to get swamped with orders and stop research and developing new products also. I understand and its smart because he'll have more products for a wider consumer base. But I want it now :cry_2: -
What's your FPS in DCS 2.0?
spacenavy90 replied to Fred00's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Interesting. Computer specs in my signature, and I get up to 150 FPS easy with an average of at least 100 and a low of probably 50 on these settings. -

You are essentially saying here: "You aren't allowed to criticize my favorite joystick." -

The rest of us don't seem to detect the hostility from hegykc that you seem to... so its your loss really. Hopefully you can find a Hornet joystick someplace else. -

Yes, that's why I said we've only seen early prototypes [emoji14] Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk -

Agreed with the two above. May have been a bit of an over-reaction. He was absolutely not being hostile towards TM, merely pointing out the flaws in their hardware. Is that not alright to do? Although, we haven't seen much from him yet except for 3D models and early prototypes so fingers crossed he shows more soon. -

Man.. I wish I could afford those... Maybe we'll get a cheaper, replica version here? My Saitek pedals keep rolling me off the runway. :| -
I love draw-able maps. :D Supporting this idea!

Except they ARE more advanced in terms of positioning, tracking and latency while also being significantly cheaper than the Oculus' cameras. You can't really say that Oculus "looked at all the types of tracking" either because what they accomplished with Lighthouse was thinking straight out of the box. I bet if Oculus knew about it before, they would've gone with it instead. But at this point they are dedicated. This being said, Oculus still has the advantage in terms of mainstream awareness and game support. Though Valve is making good strides in reaching out to the community especially with OpenVR.

What is the transport/utility you'd love to fly in DCS?
spacenavy90 replied to thaisocom's topic in DCS Core Wish List
If ED or anyone else had any intentions on developing a CH-47 module, my father currently flies one for the US Army and I bet he would be interested in helping out with any research needed. Just food for thought. :) -
Super cool post! Thanks for sharing! My father is an active duty CH-47 pilot, which is unfortunately not flyable... yet. But if anyone had questions concerning the aircraft or helicopters in general I'm sure he wouldn't mind answering some.
-
I would argue that the Vive is actually more advanced especially with its Lighthouse tracking and better wands. However, I have a feeling that the later release date, apparently lack of game support (from what I can see now at least) and the higher price tag will hurt them. I'll still pick one up though.

Well I assume you mean the TMWH quality right? But we can expect at least X-55 quality, correct? -

The X-55 Rhino is pretty universal. We can trade if you want. :) -

I don't care about any box because I just end up throwing it away anyway. However, quality is important. So when you say that you aren't trying to beat their quality, what areas in the joystick can we expect to be lower? -

spacenavy90 replied to hegykc's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Why use a grip at all? Just use the default grip and button layout. -
I'm also experiencing performance issues.
-
I don't know how ED would feel about that. But if you have any studios in mind lets hear them. Also unrelated, but you know you can add a signature to your posts without having to manually add it every time, right?

Cant wait to see it! Any estimate on how long until you open up orders? I'm sure you are already aware of the dozens just patiently now. :D Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
