  1. Thank you both, that's helpful, I'll do as you suggest.
  2. Sorry for the double post but I wanted to keep this alive as a week has passed. Anyone from Ugra Media, or anyone at all have any ideas? I would like Normandy 2.0 but, apart from not being able to afford it this month, I'm worried that whatever problem I've got with 1.0 will also be present in 2.0.
  3. Thanks for your reply. I've attached my dxdiag report file and dcs.log file. (Edit 21/3/24) Sorry, I should have posted the files sent with the crash report. dcs.log DxDiag.txt dcs.log-20240313-233659.zip dcs.log-20240314-174121.zip
  4. I am still using the old Normandy map, which was fine until recently but now I can't load any missions on it. The progress bar gets near the end then DCS crashes. I haven't used the map for a while so I'm not sure exactly when this started happening, after a DCS update or a driver upgrade. Is the old map still in support? As far as I can see all my other maps and content are working fine. Any help offered will be much appreciated. System: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X, 32.0GB DDR4, ATI Radeon RX Vega 64 8Gb (24.1.1 drivers-latest), Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
  5. I found the problem, my wheelbrakes were reversed so I was trying to take off with them full on. Amazed I got airborne at all (the one time I did). Your help is much appreciated, many thanks. Feeling a bit sheepish, had forgotten about that handy controls indicator, better check out the assignments for my other aircraft.
  6. Thanks for your replies. The runway I'm testing on is Groom Lake. Fuel level is set to 35% and loadout is empty. I do throttle up to max but the brakes don't hold me so I start to roll well before I get there. No wind. I will check out the control indicator and also game flight mode as suggested, thanks.
  7. Hi, First I'm very impressed, what a great aircraft. But though I'm fine flying around and landing I can't take off. I've followed the checklist, including flaps, trim, ignition setting, checked the airbrake isn't out, these are all ok but with the throttle fully forward the aircraft accelerates very slowly and I'm only doing about 90 kts by the time I hit the end of the runway. What am I missing?
  8. I'm getting excellent graphics in the open alpha apart from one problem. With Vsync enabled in the game options I noticed that the cockpit textures tear badly when I move my TrackIR viewpoint. However, with Vsync disabled in the game options but forced on with my video card, the problem goes away. So I am wondering if the Vsync option in game is actually working at present? System: Core i5 3570K, 8 Gb DDR RAM, Geforce 660 2Gb (359.06 drivers), Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit.
