  1. Im having a similar issue, logged in to DCS (forgot there was an update,) looked at the MP server list and found it empty. Ran the updater, update went fine and am now on the latest OB version (v2.8.8.43704.) Went back in to the MP list and still no servers showing. I was able to connect via IP to one of my favorited servers, and it connected to the server without issue, even had SRS autostart and autoconnect (I know, not a DCS thing but figured still worth mentioning.) After connecting to the server via IP, the server list started populating. I am on a 551MBps down, 22MBps Up network (as shown by the Ookla Speed Test) with an ethernet cable running straight from the router to the PC. I am running a firewall, but have both DCS and SRS allowed through. I am also running IPv6. I have tried restarting my modem and my router, still no servers showing up when first opening DCS World Multithread. Please find attached my latest DCS.log from when I connected via IP to the favorited server and had the server list populate afterwards. dcs.log
  2. Same issue here: built a test mission with multiple air-start jets. Tester 2-1 is loaded with two 2xGBU-10 on each CFT. Tester 2-2 is 4xGBU-12 on LCFT, 2xGBU-10 on RCFT. Tester 2-3 is the mirror of 2-2, with 2xGBU-10 on LCFT and 4xGBU-12 on RCFT. As shown in the track, the known issue of no armament initially showing up on the LCFT when 2xGBU-10 are hung appears, and I manually loaded the PACS to reflect the loadout. With 4xGBU-10, everything works as advertized, and same with the mixed load putting the GBU-10's on the RCFT. But when 2xGBU-10's are loaded on the LCFT and 4xGBU-12's on the RCFT, in addition to the no-armament -in-PACS issue, the ASL for the GBU-10's deviate significantly, with no TREL indication on the HUD, only TTGT. I also made the HUD IN CMD to illustrate the CDIP pipper, in level flight the pipper is reverse of what is expected, and turning makes it appear to be even with the horizon. I can confirm that being an air-start jet has no bearing on this, as the same behavior is displayed when copying the loadout of Tester 2-3 to a cold and dark jet. GBU Testing.trk
  3. Both a repair and a clean were run via Skatezillas application. No mods are currently on the install
  4. Also of note: I used the CMD prompt to convert my stable version using the "DCS_Updater.exe update @openbeta" command
  5. I updated last night to 2.7.0 Open Beta, and after the updater completed, when I tried to launch, I would get the small splash screen, the blue authorization window, then the splash screen would disappear and DCS would completely close out. I have since reverted back to 2.5.6 and all ops checks are good. Log file attached. PC specs are: Intel i7-9700K OC'd to 4.58GHz; 32GB DDR4; RTX 2060 Super; root install on Samsung EVO 850 250GB SSD dcs.log
  6. It's kind of there, it looks like it has a TACAN or at least an NDB, and the images are there, albeit as part of the ground textures. I happen to always place tankers in my missions coming from there. I also know I would spend all my time disregarding the mission and bee lining it to try and shoot off some disco belts from backpacks because it's the middle of the day! AeriaGloria, it's (for lack of better terms) a double-wide tent that when viewed from the air, looks like a bra, and the name stuck
  7. I tested yesterday and found the same problem, where the TGP will slew to a point fwd and below the aircraft, as well as move itself out of point or area track. I made a quick test mission today, and found that if you leave the initial target point then re-designate while a TGT point is already marked, it likes to stay where you want it. Assitionally, as I was testing the "double ugly" loadout, I found that after expending GBU-12's first, then switching to a GBU-38, the TGP will automatically slew to the same below/fwd view point, but with the workaround I found, was able to designate a target. Track is included. TGP Test.rar
  8. I've recorded another track, flown in the AIM-120 instant action mission, this track shows the radar behaviour better Radar Test.trk
  9. Erratic Radar Behaviour in Latest Update Both myself and my wingman, Mithandra (C/S 59_Specter) experienced a major change in the radar behaviour in the latest update. While we were both able to lock onto targets, once locked, the HUD symbology would constantly "dance" and show the target jumping around, would continuously swap between targets, and would drop and reaquire target lock on a nonmanoeuvering target. I will include my track, but it will not be very helpful as it shows that my target that I did have locked is not locked according to the track, and I crash, which I did NOT do according to both the actual flight and TacView. I have also included a link to the TacView file as evidence. Link to the TacView file: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1KaDpfVzgIqD4uOtU0QhtWpxvsr5X9FKo/view?usp=sharing Link to the .trk file, not sure why it's not showing up: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1DeP49UMIbKAiYPbS-kltXOcxBsh08DqT/view?usp=sharing
  10. The basket itself doesn't have any lights, even the infamous Iron Maiden. All basket illum is done by the rcvr
  11. Here is the track from that mission (I was the aforementioned buddy, and please excuse the horrible launch on my end.) As you can clearly see if you F2 on to Specter, we both are able to hook up to the cats, run up the engines to TRT, and while I am able to launch from the deck, Specter is still on the cat at full burner. 12. I can piggyback on this: Tankers always have frost on the underside of their wings on landing, even when they come back from the desert. Maybe we're getting more realistic humidity factors in the sim, or something that doesn't necessarily warrant its own blurb in a changelog?
  13. Like I said, heavy drivers write everything up and it's almost always an X, and our debrief are usually rejects we don't want touching a jet. Back to the subject at hand though: how I see the indication is that the INLET ICE sensor is within DCS parameters to accumulate buildup (hence throwing the code) not necessarily that the blades are iced up (but is showing that they COULD become so or be FOD'd out by shedding ice.) As a precaution/adherance to realism and strict -1 procedures, I would suggest following the "NO ICE ON LEF" section of the corrective actions. If all it takes is a shallow climb to above FL250 and a little more gas to prevent shelling out an engine, easy prevention IMAO.
  14. I got one better, next time you walk by CTK, listen for some dumb 3 speeds MAN #, and downgrade the X (pilot's write EVERYthing up as that in AMC) to a diagonal using theirs
  15. And while we're at it, don't forget to make the WUC 01000 and sign it off "X 799!":megalol:
  16. Easiest way it s hold the Y key while pressing OSB 20 when in the FCS BIT page
  17. Flying tonight with a few members of my squadron testing a custom mission, had to divert to Lar AB due to fuel. Landed without issue on RWY 25, exited left to the taxiway, turned on the taxiway and my aircraft sank into the ground and was launched approx 300ft in the air. Track and TacView are at: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1LNX2Hs3BTimVdJ220zF1X97v41gHFpA_?usp=sharing (track is too large to post here, and ACMI is unsupported), PC specs are in my sig
  18. The 707 happens to be a fine airframe! Just look at how many variants the USAF/USN alone uses. (and yes, I'm partial, cut my teeth, among other parts, on the KC-135 :D)
  19. I've found that, even on release day for an update or a couple of days after, running DCS through "DCS Updater.exe" still will assume that I'm running the latest version when I'm on the version behind latest, I usually only found out when I flew with my old squadron, couldn't find their server and the first question was usually "what version are you on?" Because of that, I nomally run my updates through Command Prompt now, and that always updates whenever there is one, althought I've never needed to add "@openbeta" to it...
  20. As an amendment to this, I've also noticed that in the Su-25T the water will stop when the Shkval is turned on, regardless of mirror status. To me this indicated that the engine cannot handle more than one viewpoint (mirrors/ sensor feed) without something being reduced.
  21. To those that can help, I've recently upgraded my RAM to 16 GB, in the hope that the water not moving when in 'pit and mirrors are active would be resolved. I have posted this in the 2.0 Bugs and Problems thread, but since that's been taken down, and the problem still exists, I feel the need to readdress this issue. I originally had 8GB and thought that was the cause, but after upgrading it's still there. F2 and all other views work as advertised, It's only when in the cockpit and mirrors are on. Please do not say "then turn the mirrors off" because, as a primarily fighter pilot, the mirrors add more SA to the environment, and are practically necessary when in a furball. I have attached a screenshot of my settings, and my PC specs are in my sig. Thank you in advance.
  22. Excellent work! FYI, if you want an easy time with camo, use blue-tack to shape it and spray away (used that trick on my 1/32 MiG-29 and it worked a treat!)
  23. Plus the fact that, IIRC was addressed somewhere else on these forums, the Soviet jets do not have Anti-Skid, which means when you depress the brake pedals, the brakes lock up, leading to tyre blowouts
  24. As far as the -1 goes, it has to do with the gear hydraulics on the right system. During RL startup/shutdown, right is first to gen up before pulling pins, and left on after parking/rollover check till after the gear pins are installed. But, pins aren't simmed here, so it's more just to keep in line with the -1
  25. There are plenty of youtube videos on normal T/O procedures and weapons employment. Most are done in a very straightforward way. As for your second question, have you read the manual?
