  2. There is another program called OBS for performance measurement that should work. Not sure about VRPerfkit. Edit: not OBS, but CapFrameX. People are using it to graph frame times and fps. https://www.capframex.com/
  3. Yes it’s this setting ! I run it without preview mode, but that shouldn’t affect it.
  4. Set it to « enabled » or « forced » so it will always be active (45 or 30 fps). It gives more stable results than if it’s jumping between 90+ and 45 in « automatic ». I say 90 because I have a reverb g2, might be 70 for other headsets.
  5. You can use the motion reprojection from openXR, it allows to « upsample » from 30 or 45 fps. Or you can disable it and run 90.

  12. Hi , I just updated to DCS OB to v2.7.7.15038, VAICOMPRO v2.5.26.0 and VA v1.8.9 and it looks like not all "exposed variables" work anymore. Flying around in Caucasus in the FA-18C (free flight solo mission) I can get {TXT:vaicompro.serverdata.currentserver.theater} to work (returns Caucasus as expected) but both {TXT:vaicompro.playerdata.currentmodule.cat} and {TXT:vaicompro.playerdata.currentmodule.name} return "Not set". In the attached picture we can see the module is detected and display in the VAICOMPRO configuration window, SRS also recognizes the module and switches to the correct profile. It's a bummer because I use different button presses for my radios depending on the plane I'm flying. Any clues ? So far I tried the following: -Running VA, VAICOMPRO, SRS, DCS as admin -Repairing SRS & VAICOMPRO -Searching for "vaicompro.playerdata.currentmodule" in the forums -Verifying the command didn't change in the VAICOMPRO manual Cheers, Here is the VoiceAttack configuration. I expect it to output the currentmodule name and category along with the theater, but I only the theater seems to be working. Here is the relevant page in the user manual.

Up scaling from anything below yields mixed results and the performance cost is there.

  16. 1080 Ti with Reverb G2 here. I usually run my SteamVR at 60%, PD at 1.0. I tried the equivalent FSR setting which is 0.77 with SteamVR at 100%, but frametimes we’re up about 10% and quality did not look better. It’s a pass for me. I get better image quality and slightly better frametimes with the ReShade for VR SMAA + CAS.
  17. Not sure if it’s related, but I’ve had similar symptoms when running out of memory even though I have 32GB as well. What is your page file size set to ?
  18. What I mean is that I am using VSPX and when I say « kneeboard » nothing happens. I see my text is recognized in the VA log, but the kneeboard does not show up in DCS. If I use the normal speak engine it works. Following page 46, which « plugin context » can I use to show/hide the kneeboard ?

  21. You’re obviously doing something wrong otherwise no one would play this sim. Once you start questioning what could be wrong on your end maybe someone may help you. But please understand your post is all but inviting. With your configuration you should be getting decent FPS. Can you screenshot your in-game options page for a start ?
  22. Yeah I have the same issue now with the virtual controller and some of the non-virtual controllers staying « active » in the back. How did you solve it ? I just put a long timer to let everything initialise and then it’s fine, but it needs like 40sec or so after boot to be ready to go.. so I’d be interested if there is a better approach !

  24. Anyone knows if there is a way to get Viacom to work with this ? It seems not, but I’m wondering if there’s anything that can be modded so it would. If it’s a DCS module thing then maybe is my thinking.
  25. I would suggest looking into optimizing for VR, notably shader mods and world object shadow removal. I’m running a 8700k @ 4.7GHz with a 1080ti and am GPU bound 98% of the time.
