as an update i deleted the install and reinstalled the track ir software and it now works.

i just updated my track i.r. software and now my computer is not recognizing my track i.r. im running windows 7 if that helps. the software loads but its like the camera isnt working. i have a blue light on the bottom of the sensor that is blinking once every couple of seconds.

I am wanting to upgrade my card ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102810 ) as it a few years old and quite under powered now. Im on a budget not looking for the best card out there but my main question is should i look for a bigger card memory wise? or a faster card? if its helpful i have a core i-5 quad core 3.4 ghz and 8 gigs of ram. thanks for any help. oh and if any of you over achievers want to suggest a specific card the budget goal is under $100

where might i find these user edited campaigns?

I have done all of the training missions ( some more than once!!) I have not been turning on the RWR , i thought it was on already. that could be the problem! i will check those videos out as well. thanks for the tips

I am having some trouble surviving the first campaign mission in the su25t. I am very new so i am looking for any advice or tips i can get. I continually get hit with SAMs without getting any indication of a radar lock or missile launch. I believe this means the missiles are infrared and not radar guided? If this is case whats the best way to avoid them? should i be continually dispensing flares as i make a run in on target? thanks for any and all advice. oh and i almost forgot....all of the writing and gauges in the cockpit are really blurry. is their anyway to fix this? ive tried changing the cockpit resolution settings but it doesnt seem to help. the hud is crystal clear everything else seems fine except the writing and what not.

It appears that it was only not working for the p51 ground attack training mission. Seems to be working everywhere else. Thanks

I'm having a bit of trouble activating the target lables. I have tried the last shift f-10( and f-9 ) in am attempting to turn on the ground target labels and it's not working. Is this the wrong command?

Thanks everyone for all the replies!! I'm having some trouble mapping the trim controls to the hat switch. When I go to add a control nothing happens when I hit the hat switch. I even went into the view controls and cleared the hat controls there. Still no luck. Any suggestions? Also what is "iff" ? I know.....noob question

can you map the pitch control to a button (as opposed to a slider) so that it will adjust incrementally? My stick only has 1 slider and that will be for the throttle.

I am very very new to DCS, as in I have had the tf51 off the ground twice now!! My track IR should be arriving tomorrow and i am looking forward to putting in many more hours. I am trying to find out which controls are the important ones to map to my t flight hotas x. Im assuming the trim controls would be a good start, but any help from the experienced simmers out there would be greatly appreciated.
