  1. Thank you :) Maybe I'll try over at general. I noticed that I have the same issue with the KA-50.
  2. I doubt this qualify as a bug so I'm posting here initially. I've recently upgraded my rig with two additional monitors giving me almost 180 degree field of view. Great! Right? :) So here is the problem. I run the sim basically by stretching out the resolution. Over all three monitors. In this case I have it set up as follows: Left 27" (1920*1080) Centre 34" Ultrawide (2560*1080) Right 27" (1920*1080). The total resolution is set to 6400*1080. In the Harrier for example this looks fine. But in the Viggen it is so zoomed in, even at max zoom out that it becomes unplayable. Which is really a shame. I've added two pictures to show what I'm talking about. Is there anyone out there who can help me set this up better? I can also add that I've tried to change the min max field of view in the view.lua in mod/aircraft/AJS37/config This only results in the Viggen module not showing up in DCS at all. Which is too bad since I suspect that this is the setting that limits the zoom out. As a final not I'm running this in Open Beta but I do not believe that it would be any different in stable.
  3. Anyone no longer able to use RB75 (maverick) after latest open beta release? Can't get the EP sight to show any video. When I switch to ATK the EP sight doesn't show any video. I've done the RB75 to death so I'm pretty sure I haven't just missed something in the setup for it. :smartass: Tried in my own cold start mission as well as in instant action when I spawn in the air.
  4. The AIM54 will get preiodical updates from the AWG9 throughout is flight until it can make an lock with its own scanner. It is not strange that it would drastically change its course to respond to a sudden maneuver from a target. And even if it looses AHR track it will fall back on updates from the AWG9. As long as you still have the enemy as a radar contact the AIM54 can be redirected. Also I believe that even if you loose radar contact briefly and then quickly require it AWG9 will again send updates to the AIM54 to correct its course.
  5. I've started using the rolling landings with the harrier on the Tarawa and it works just fine. We're discussing using it in our squadron since it requires less fuel and allows for a return with more fuel, ordnance. Alos I actually find it easier especially in bad weather.
  6. So I've discovered that the TPOD seems to give coordinates in decimal form. Is there anyway to (inside the Harrier) convert it to minutes and seconds? Also follow up question. Does the harriers nav computer use decimal or minutes and seconds?
  7. A while back ago I saw several post about how you intend to make both the JA37 and the J35 AI units to be used in DCS. But recently I haven't heard anything about this. The AJS37 is amazing, but without realistic AI units to support it the experience is kinda flat in my opinion. I'm not demanding nor complaining but since these units have been specifically promised by heatblur it would be nice to at least get at status report.
  8. I'm looking for interested Viggen pilots who wants to join my squadron Gustav Röd which flies in the TAW.net DCS branch. We are usually among 20 - 40 pilots on the European side every Sunday flying mission both in PvP and PvE setting covering almost every "modern" airframe available in DCS. check us out:https://tawdcs.org/squadrons/ Recruitment video: E9gSYoMyDsY
  9. Awesome! Thank you renhanxue. This what what wanted to know!! :D Please see if you can dig up those images, would be really interesting to see. :) Also huge thank you for the source! This is going to keep me up for a few nights. ;)
  10. I was under the assumption the one of the main design requirements of "System 37" was a STRIL integration. Source (Swedish) https://www.aef.se/Flygvapnet/Notiser/FPL37_Viggen.htm
  11. I know that both the J35 and JA37 were equipped with datalink (STRIL). The J35 could receive commands directly from ground operator displayed on their instruments for example. And JA37 could even overlay each others radar information, if I'm not mistaken. Was there any datalink systems active in the AJS37? If so do we have any chance on seeing them integrated in the sim?
  12. So I did this video initially just no have some fun. But due to a bug in DCS currently when (as far as I know) you start in a hangar you face the wrong way this might actually help someone! So enjoy! :pilotfly::lol: c9dtl6iKeqA
  13. Since the 2.5 update some of my favorite roads to land on for the Viggen has been "littered" with telephone posts next to them making it insanely difficult to land on without hitting the posts. :joystick: So please share with me your favorite roads to land on in 2.5! Preferably with grid and LOLA. And maybe even a screenshot of your parked Viggen. :D :pilotfly:
  14. So this might just be me being stupid but I can't for the life of me figure out how to add the Ticonderoga class in the mission editor. From what I can tell it should be there in the list but isn't. Am I missing something obvious?
