Thank you for the answer ^^ Is the appdata folder in the saves games folder or in the installation directory ? I know the default binding, but it worked fine since the beginning I started to play DCS, and now I have this probelm showing just since 2 updates ... I just had to rebind the Z axis to the zoom and there was no rpoblems at all ...

Hi all ! I'm experiencing a problem in at least 2 aircrafts (F5E and AV8B) I'm used to bind the Z axis of my track IR to zoom in and out Sometimes, the bindings go crazy for my track IR and I have to delete the trackir config file to get things cleaned up and rebind my Z axis to the zoom. But this time, this doesn't work ... Even if I delete the track IR config file in saved games, when I rebind the Z axis to the zoom, the Z axis still acts as the lean forward backwards command, and not the zoom ...

What is your primary DCS flight controller?

Mirage 2000 outturning F-18 at low speed- is that accurate?
Dragonares76 replied to Aries144's topic in M-2000
Better not forget that the Mirage can bleed all his energy to get a snap shot (guns or IR missiles) If you pull the joystick to convert your energy into a turn, you will do it very sharp and be able to take advantage for a few seconds, gaining enough lead to the opponent aircraft to get a good aim ... If you miss and don't get the kill, so you're vulnerable after that ... and don't do it at too low altitude ^^ The Hornet is not as capable as the mirage to do such a thing I often use this kind of maneuver to get a kill in a dogfight -
ME Unresponsive after saving mission (1.5.8OB)

ME Unresponsive after saving mission (1.5.8OB)
Dragonares76 replied to Nealius's topic in Mission Editor Bugs
Hi ! I have the same problem but on the release 1.5.8 ... But I identified what caused this unresponsive state of the ME (at least for me): When I try to place a M2000-C The bad thing is that I don't know how to resolve this problem, even when identified. I tested quite all the other planes playable in the game and they do not induce this unresponse of the ME ... -
Hints and Tips for the F-5E BFM Campaign
Dragonares76 replied to Sabre-TLA's topic in F-5E Aggressors BFM Campaign
Ok thank you guys ! I'll study this in details, but I think I can say it is related to radial intercept and not to a point to fly at, correct me if I'm wrong ^^ -
Hints and Tips for the F-5E BFM Campaign
Dragonares76 replied to Sabre-TLA's topic in F-5E Aggressors BFM Campaign
Hi ! I still struggle with the nav ... Using the kneeboard, it's fine for me, I can see where I am and where I go ... But, using the TACAN and your exemple, it's not so easy ... I achieved your first hint, setting the TACAN once I took off to reach FYTTR, and it was ok, I followed the indication and the nav was fine. When trying to follow the next waypoint, it starts to be unprecise and setting the right course for the right TACAN, I follow the wrong route compared to the kneeboard route ... Is there a conversion for the heading to follow from FYTTR to the next waypoint, and so on ? If not could you just add a demonstration for the first three waypoints to have a better vision of how we should set up our TACAN ? Thanks in advance for you answers ! -
what is the type of the antiship missiles shown with the ultra-multi-launch ? :)

In fact, you (RAZBAM) could capitalize on such ships : While developping the ship, think to other aircrafts or helicopters you could develop to "match" with this ship as you already do with you poll for Big Helicopters. You can spend time (of course some money ^^) to create the ship that will match further numerous flying vehicules. So your investment, not paid by the player (and getting rid of paying/non paying players), will be a huge argument if the ship is provided with one of your modules => a constant developping ship with a lot of aircraft that will perfectly operate from it in the future !

The Puma Pirate with 30mm gun multi crew would be very nice to play

Hi, Sorry I may not be clear in the title, but here is my problem : Since some updates in DCS 2.0, my default pilot's head position in the cockpit is really bad, it occurs on many aircrafts (A10C is playable but Hawk and Mig21 for exemple are not because of this view. To be more precise, I feel that the pilot is leaning too much forward and that he is seating too low. In tht way I can't efficiently access to all the infos in the hud (especially for the A10C), and I can't have a fast eye on important commands and displays. Is there a way to correct the default head's position when using a track IR (opentrack in my case) ? I'll add that this doesnt occur in DCS 1.5.4, where the default position of the pilot's head are ok.

Mirage Full A-A Refuel from KC-135 - Testing some Camera angles
Dragonares76 replied to Rlaxoxo's topic in M-2000
I think for having seen a lot of refuel video that the disconnection of the plane is made by himself (decelerating slowly) EDIT : HELL !!! it's not the good refueling system on the KC135 !!! it's like if you want to make the square pass through the star shape !!! Maybe the main bug is that you were able to refuel with a KC135 ^^ -
TDC movement speed and radar antenna up/down speed
Dragonares76 replied to flankerted's topic in M-2000
I think he want to be able to set a faster movement speed to the TDC to select targets on radar ^^ I would agree with that idea ... it's particularly slow by the way ... Maybe is there a method already present in the plane system ? -
Yep I got it but thanks, it helps me to understand better ^^ Yeah in fact I tought really it was like scuba gear => under pressure until you breath So I tought it was => under pressure until you press the start button ... But I understand now how it works and that the start button only activate ignition
-
Ok fine thanks for the infos ^^
-
but stop me if this is wrong, but this is pneumatic pressure plugged on the engine ? and not some kind of fan providing enough air to let the turbine windmill ... I thought the operation was : - plug the pneumatic pressure - apply pressure (like the pressure in scuba gear, under pressure, but the air is not coming out until you breath) - push the engine start button => unlocks the fan to start turning and taking rpm and sets ignition on to let the fuel burn - Throttle to IDLE to provide fuel and effectively start the engine.
-
But i experienced something similar, and i don't think it is normal to see the engine taking rpm when pressure is applied without pushing the start button ...

Hi guys, I did not find the answer, but ... Is the impossibility to steer the aircraft and even make it start rolling related to this unloading and reloading of the FM ?
-
The Super Etendard Modernisé or SEM would be a really great addition to DCS, a carrier based ground attack plane. But for this, we'll need a catapulting routine to take off !
