  1. As lame as it might sound, I think anti-slip tape (search on amazon) might be just what the doctor ordered.
  2. At least in the F-18, there seems to be an a available command for KB shortcut (no keys mapped). I've looked around but I can't seem to find anything that explains what this is. Does anybody know what they do?
  3. I feel your pain. Too many modules, too little skill. I'm probably a little prejudiced (I was ships company on CV-63), but the Hornet pretty much has it all, but for me it's got a very steep learning curve
  4. Thanks for the tip, but i'm guessing my system is possessed. I fired everything up this a.m. and it behaved normally. Stupid gremlins . . .
  5. Is it just me, or did something happen to the input lua? Whenever I move the throttle from the off to idle (I think its button 30) the comms menu opens up. Its happening on the hornet and the F5 as well (the only ones I checked). I cleared the bindings and it still happens.
  6. Well, as it turns out, the problem was related to the "Scale GUI" which I had to 1.5. Changed to 1 and (drum roll please) PROBLEM SOLVED.
  7. I cant seem to wrap my arms around what's going on with the F10 map and Mission Editor. Using three monitors, RTX 2070 super. Following is my monitor.lua file as well as a screenshot of the three monitors. Note the big blue space on the ME (center monitor). Resolution set to 11520X2160 Anybody seen (or more importantly fixed) this issue?
  8. Thanks mate. Turns out it has something to do with a triple monitor setup. Just for shits and giggles, set it up for a single monitor and all of the problems went away. Not sure what gremlin causes this, but figuring that on out is WAY above my pay grade.
  9. Somehow, the ME doesn't seem to want to cooperate with me anymore. When I open it, only half the screen shows the map. If I try to insert an object, it is inserted somewhere off the map as happens with any additional WP's that get added. If I can see the object (my plane) I can't move it. I've tried to edit an existing mission I created, but I can't get it to move my plane. I had a bunch of downloaded missions that I deleted, but I still have the problem. What the heck did I do and, more importantly, how the heck do I fix it? Many thanks for any help, Fast Eddie
  10. I was there. '73-76. OA div, AG2 (weather guessers). We didn't even have F-14's, just F-4, A-6, A-7, F-8 and the occasional S2F and AWACS ("liberty bell").
  11. I've managed to get the triple monitor setup working (mostly), but I can't get the left and right monitors to move on the horizontal plane. With the default viewDx setting, the left and right monitor view "tilts" downward. If I change the ViewDx setting to anything other than the 1/-1 in the .lua file (editing with notepad++) the left and right monitors only display what is in the center monitor. Setup: Nvidia 2070 Max card, 3x ASUS 4k monitors on display ports. I tried the default 1 monitor setup with the correct resolution (11580x2160) but I get the shader error and the world comes to an end. A little help?
  12. Solved. Bigger than life, the new card solved the issue.
  13. Thanks to all who responded to this thread. Totally my bad - I guess I'm too hip to look at system requirements before I take a plunge. Lesson learned.
