  1. I'm trying this out online for the first time, after we finished it didn't automatically update and is only giving me the option to manually submit. Anyone know where the state.jsn file would be? Couldn't locate it anywhere.
  2. Hi MRaza, I have stopped supporting and updating the mod as it no longer passes IC with ED's new system. I don't know if the mod currently works with the latest version sorry, try changing the time of day to dusk/night and see if you notice a difference.
  3. Unfortunately no, I had given up in hopes ED would reverse their feelings towards mods. If anyone finds a solution let me know and I'll implement the fix.
  4. Thanks, that worked for me! Have you tried U-boats method of moving the mods folder to the Saved games folder instead of the route folder? I wonder if this would allow you to clean up the Hud as well.
  5. Unfortunately no, uninstalling the base game is the last resort. Right now it wouldn't be worth the time/energy to do so just because of the minor bug. Appreciate all your help so far, I've run out of ideas.
  6. I do usually run mods but in this case I disabled them all, ran a repair and did a fresh install of the Mig. No such luck.
  7. Yeah bmp. It was a typo, I have the two files and even had a buddy copy his files over to me with still no luck.
  8. What zip are you referring to? I have the RN-24-PAINT.bms.dds file located inside coremods/aircraft/Mig-21bis/textures/Mig21Bis_Weapons but no weapons listed in the Mig-21 zip
  9. Is this an airstart mig? Try actually loading the nuke on the ground from the re-arm menu. I've noticed if you air start with nukes the control box is missing.
  10. My control box appears fine, and the nuke releases and detonates as usual. The model is just invisible, it seems to be an issue on my end since my buddy said it shows fine.
  11. Jumped on a 2.1 server with a buddy and both nuclear weapons appear invisible on my aircraft. The bombs still drop and detonate on impact like normal but were completely invisible to me. My buddy could see them just fine. On 1.5 they appear normal but only on 2.1 this problem occurs. I have removed and reinstalled the Mig-21 as well as ran a full DCS repair with no luck, any ideas how to fix this issue?
  12. I couldn't have said it better myself Mike, normally I would feel bad quoting such a large block of text but in this case I feel it's acceptable.
  13. So after the latest update the mod will no longer pass the integrity check, if you are having issues joining servers it's most likely my mod or a terrain mod you have. Looking into the issue now and seeing if there's a way around it. But for now you must disable the mod.

  17. just to add to the conversation, it seems the Mig-15bis is experiencing a bug which is inducing huge amount of drag when the ailerons are deflected. This could definitely effect the climb performance if you are deflecting the ailerons while climbing. I've made a video demonstrating the drag issue.
  18. Alright after you brought this up I did some testing of my own. Your results seem similar to mine, the drag produced by even the slight movement of the Ailerons on the Mig-15bis seems massive. In the video below I demonstrate this and compare it to the similar F-86, an aircraft with larger ailerons. The Mig demonstrates a loss of +80kts in a high speed roll while the Sabre would appear to actually gain speed in some instances.
  19. Come to think of it I think I have noticed this also, I will investigate myself as well. Back in the days when it was first released it seemed to be a much more suitable fighter against the F-86. Nowadays it seems like a dog to fight with.
  20. So I used to fly the Mig back when it first came out and have taken a hiatus away from it. But for the last few months I've been flying it online again. I can hold my own defensively pretty well but when it comes to offensive fighting I need some tips. I usually start my engagements at high altitude to draw the F-86's in to my contrail, once they grab the bait I will then lure them down to altitude and get them slow. From there if they fall for the bait and get slow its an easy to win turn fight and I've had great success using this against most pilots. Its the ones who do not fall for the turn fight where I am powerless, if they are an experienced pilot they will use the strengths of the F-86 and stay fast and stay high. If I try to match them I am much too slow to catch them and If I try to turn I loose all my energy and repeats the process. I've just had three dogfights where I am the Cat struggling to catch the fast mouse, 2 of which resulted in both of us running out of fuel. I've tried the approach of breaking off and getting altitude again but in all cases the F-86 will catch up and rocket past me to altitude eventually getting on my six. How do you guys deal with this issue? No matter the tactic I will never be close enough for the shot unless he gets slow, otherwise he seems to have every advantage over me.

  22. The Mod seems to fails integrity check for MP, appears it should be fine if I remove a shader file. I'll investigate further.
  23. Ok so I jumped back in today and couldn't replicate the issue as I did yesterday. It appears to be working now. I'll chock it up to be a buggy module I'll let you know if it crashes again and grab the log. I'll keep investigating further, I apologize for the bother.
  24. Alright so I've tested my issue and on singleplayer and on another MP server the Viggen can change to the AWACS channel without issue. With open conflict as soon as I turn the dial to connect to AWACS the Game crashes to desktop. It seems to be a server issue.
  25. Blue, as I said It has worked before with no issue and there hasn't been any updates since I last tried which leads me to believe something is going on in the mission. I'll have to see if I can replicate the issue in singleplayer or on another server when I have time again.
