Can you put out what you're looking for? I'm sure the community would help pitch in and there are people very capable of contributing to the project that are in these comments. :P

A few people over on the modding discord (of which i'm sure you're aware of it's existence) have decided to see if there is any interest in a 24 hour relatively short modding challenge, the challenge is see who can make the best mod in 24 hours. Of course, 24 hours is a very short amount of time for modding and this is noted. So this is just for fun no rewards or whatever it's just to reinvigorate the scene into doing as best they can in a short amount of time. Some ideas have been proposed over on the r/hoggit subreddit as to what the rules could be and how to make sure no one starts early etc but it's early days. So a few of us are just wondering who would be interested and if you are interested do you have any ideas how to make it a fun little event. Further down the line we're hoping to make it 1 week so we can see some cooler mods being created with a little bit more depth and challenge. I'm going to link to the subreddits post if any of the admins do not like me linking outside of the forums just say and i'll delete the link i'm not trying to advertise anything just trying to gather some people for a cool little event. To what extent can you use JSON in DCS? I've used it a bit but to no real extent in dcs.

http://imgur.com/a/4iALw As you can tell, the canopy ring does not connect to the actual windscreen airframe mesh leaving a solid inch around the canopy where there is not seal etc. I only personally noticed it in vr, but the best way to describe it is what the viggen had at the start, but not the canopy-canopy ring seal, but the canopy ring to airframe seal.

Okay problem fixed, I think the 2.0 logger is broken because i chucked it in 1.5 and it spewed out a lua error. Devs might want to look into this

Not got a clue what is wrong with it. Generally I can pick up bugs if its to do with any of the lua files but beyond that i'm clueless. dcs.txt dcslog2.txt

There are so many unique German WW2 designs that would be incredible to fly. The 229 included. I love how they all have their own little quirks and it isn't your standard FBW laden modern super fighters or even 1960's fighters that are stable. These things were brutal to fly but if you mastered them it was actually flying a plane and not dampeners and FBW's flying for you. There are so many German wonder weapons I would love to see in DCS for the sole reason that you're actually flying a plane and not a computer.

The problem with that is i have my own custom 3D cockpits for both the instructor slot and pilot slot so using other avionics would kinda be impossible without messing around with the lua of both of their systems. Sorry I didn't put that in my original post.

I'm trying to add an MFD/Camera to my jet, simply put I want a TGP kind of thing but only the image displayed on a plane in the cockpit. Is there any simple porting ways i can do this atm with just using ED's lightening pod code? or would I have to do it from scratch and if so how would I go about it.?
