  1. Nope. Don't spread false information. Both Valve and HTC funded software from the beginning, but they are not locking that software behind walled garden. http://www.roadtovr.com/valves-chet-faliszek-on-htc-vive-pre-content-showcase-surprises-and-ninja-cats/
  2. I think there is a bug in latest 2.0.2. The head pointing works fine until I got into 3d, take a flight and then return to the menu. After the flight the GUI becomes glued to the headset, the dot is in the middle and the mouse is not working. I can't select anything, I can't even leave the game. I had to alt tab, and somehow kill the game with the keyboard via the task manager. My headset is HTC Vive.
  3. Yes, but not (yet) in DCS. I've been playing The Lab, and throwing mugs around. The small robodog brought them back, and I wanted to kick the mug. Then I realized it's not real and I don't have legs in VR... I instantly got sick in games with 'traditional' locomotion - I mean WASD + mouse or game controllers and I have to recover for a while. DCS, FSX are fine, but sometimes I feel dizzy during heavy maneuvers. I don't have any problems in roomscale games.
  4. Awesome, with my Vive preordered I cannot wait!
  5. I know the pain, I've been wearing glasses for almost all my life, but few years ago I've switched to the contact lenses, and haven't looked back.
  6. It's quite easy to check the feeling on your own. Buy cheap Google Cardboard 2.0 and watch a vid like this on the youtube, full screen on the phone: [ame] [/ame] I was pretty convinced already but vids like these made me preorder.
  7. Got my preorder too! Can't wait for DCS VR in April!
  8. Was it confirmed that DCS will work with Vive eventually? EDIT: Nvm, found it: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2546158&postcount=185
  9. That's why I fly helos with G940 stick and x65f throttle :) For helos FFB, even basic like the G940 is amazing, force trim is something I wish Arma 3 had. For props and jets I use x65f stick.
  10. LOL, indeed. I misunderstood the question.
  11. Go with A-10C. Because BRRRRRT. :)
