Never had an issue taking off from carrier till today. Every time I launch I just fall in the water I have tried takeoff trim from 12 to 18 same result

could someone point me in the right direction on how to hunt down bandits? on all the pvp servers I can never find a bandit visually I am fine when using radar and awacs to locate but then they know I am there, sometimes I win most times I don't, still learning tactics to that part but getting there. But a lot of pilots just sneak past me come up from behind and blast me away with a ir missile, I never knew they were there and that's but I have been trying to learn but never can find them. :helpsmilie: btw i came from the f-15 now in the f18

I am having trouble with close combat I've tried sneaking in ao low and high radar on and off find a target and when I think I've came in undetected I'll lock and fire aim 9 about 5 miles out......but it seems like enemy always know I am coming and are already headed for me and have me locked as soon as I fire they fire we both dump flares my missle misses 9 times out of 10 and there's hit 9 times out of 10. It's really frustrating. I am playing on the just dog fight server btw every just heads toward the center and dukes it out.

what are you trying to change it to? rates are 1-5

I came across a sam-15 and went it for a kill fc a maverick around 10 miles and was watching through the tgp but missile never made it, went in for another run, rifle this time looking out toward target dam sam shoot my missile down how do I get this guy

Figured it out I was putting a space in between the numbers and it was throwing the error. another question though some servers the jtac just keeps popping up but all it gives in reference to location is 2 letters and 2 numbers like MM28, what do you do with that information

VR is amazing with this sim, my first barrel roll in vr made me grab my chair. I just wish the res was better I cant find targets with tgp on vr
