Hey All, Was going to buy this campaign now that 2.5 is out however, as a lot of the other campaigns are having issues in 2.5 i was wondering if anyone had completed this and could advise if it is working correctly or requires updates? thanks James

Same, had a blast with this campaign - its one of the best - can't wait to try it again in 2.5. I love the Huey, but it's sooooo slow..... -
Is it a bug or me? Huey training mission and campaign.

What i meant was i don't think you have to climb that high if you dont want to, to trigger the mission completion... -

Yeh don't overstress the engine - don't go over about 85 - 90 percent power and i believe you can complete that mission by just following the waypoints to the base. Its a long flight and is a great way to take in 2.5 I believe someone advised the huey is a little to sensitive to engine temps at the moment and this will be fixed. At the moment it's very underpowered and slow... Belsimtek have it on the list i believe... Cheers James -
Or if there is one with lights on at night? Its hard to spot in VR in 2.5 with no lights on the deck... But very satisfying when you make it ;)

Hey All, finally made it to 2.5 - just awesome but you have to have deferred shading on or the trees look horrible. Some cockpits dont look great with it on - is that something the devs have to take care of? BTW - the Harrier performance in VR is much better than most other modules in regards to frame rates. Is that due to the increased VRAM it uses? Its very smooth all the time - my old fav the Mig 21, still suffers in comparison... Thanks James

Yep, well worth the long trip - Harrier in VR is amazing... The trees add so much as well... Going to be another long night ;) BTW - I ended up buying a $10 sim that 10gb data and used that... still took hours but i was so keen to see 2.5 for myself....

Haha... well played... 18 percent this morning... are we there yet? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Well, seeing as i am away from home - I am so keen, im on Telstra Air downloading at 200kb a second... it's killing me but i have been waiting on this update for so long, i can't wait to get in the harrier and the huey... But if you can recommend a good book, i've got time... Yaaaaaa....

Then click the aircraft icon and put the harrier on it... in Normandy... at dawn... in VR.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yeh, it's pretty hard landing with a torch :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Yeh sorry, no answer but I did what you have done for training without issue. Maybe one unit at a time and see if you can trigger a crash? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Only need it once - when you say you have a hard time looking at it - do you mean head tracking? Just curious as I use VR exclusively and have no issues with tracking at all...

The Kiowa would be a nice addition to have it in DCS, either way love the Gazelle and thanks for the great module. Some more campaigns now we have the smaller carriers etc would be great for the Gazelle. Similar to the Huey Argo etc... I'm sure that would be loved by the community. Cheers James

Looks pretty good to me... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

There is a switch above the fuel shutoff valve behind you to your left... flick that down and you are back to normal Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Press keypad number 5 when looking straight ahead? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks fella, will check it out tonight... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

There is a bug listed as reducing throttle to idol with warthog cuts out engine. From what you are saying it's not a big, just the cutoff valve? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Great thanks, I just realised this is why I was whinging about low frame rates in the Mig 21. It's the same Airport used for free flight and intercept missions. It's a wonder no testers picked it up. Anyway, thanks... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think i am a DCS "generalist"... lots of knowledge of lots of modules, master of none... Hoping to change this with the Harrier.... However, if they release the F14, F18 i will be bouncing all over the place again ha!

Yeh thanks, someone posted that the height to pick it up needs to be between 48 and 53 feet. I tried that and it was successful. Still had a tantrum about i should be able to connect on the ground but my hover in the huey is sooo good now ;) I used the autodisconnect to drop the cargo off without issue. Think i am two missions ahead of you. Next one is fun. Keen to get home and complete the next one tonight, they seem to get busier...
