  1. It's also a quick way to designate a secondary target in the same vicinity if, for whatever reason, you don't want to attack the primary.
  2. That looks VERY much like a Serial Port settings problem. Try a very basic Serial Port Hello World program to check that the port and drivers are ok e.g https://arduinogetstarted.com/tutorials/arduino-hello-world Then if that works ok try your code with difference Baud settings in the Serial console to see if that's the problem
  3. Do we know if anyone has tried this specific test yet ? If not I'll see if I can set it up over the weekend. (I'm meaning to test out the GB-6 generally so makes sense to give these specific conditions a try)
  4. I think I've spotted how to change the default screens in NAV mode via one of the cockpit .lua files, but I haven't worked out what controls the A-G and A-A mode layouts (and I don't know if the NAV mode change would pass integrity checks for MP either) The values I've spotted are the "init_pageID" values in ..\Scripts\MFCD\MFCD_init_CENTER.lua, MFCD_init_LEFT.lua & MFCD_init_RIGHT.lua The values there refer to the data set up in MFCD_init_COMMON.lua
  5. I'd be happy to keep then on outer pylons only if someone had only thought to create a double or triple rack for them !
  6. Modern, but intended to be cheap. Leads to corners getting cut like this, not having a dedicated DL radio and only having FWB on the pitch channel. (The limitations are part of what makes this plane interesting to me)
  7. Alternatively you can work around the problem without reloading by using ground power instead of battery.
  8. I've been playing with the JF-17s radio for a bit today and found out that you CAN use the side radio console in manual rather than preset mode. To switch to Manual mode turn the radio on as normal and use the Take button to move control away from the UFC. Then press the </MAN Button - the display should now show the current frequency. After that you then press either 7/P or 8/C button (my guess is P for Plain mode, C for Cipher ?) then type the frequency and press enter. Then if you want to change the frequence again, just press P or C, enter the new frequemcy and press enter You can then switch between Manual and the Preset frequency just by using MAN and PRE - the manual frequency you enter is remembered when you switch away to Preset mode then switch back. (You can also change the preset frequency you're using on the panel in the same way - just press P or C, type in the number and press enter but since you already have the functionality on the UFC it's of less use)
  9. Was just about to post the same thing - attached is an image of the C701CCD sensor being displayed on an aircraft just loaded with A-A Missiles
  10. And with precision guidance you can potentially track a specific point on the top even as the tank moves.
  11. What would typical rocket attack range and altitude be ? I'm wondering if we would expect to have the angle to explicitly target the top armour of tanks when attacking with this weapon (the APKWS has a CEP of < 0.5m so my first guess is this will be similar)
  12. If Deka's plans come to fruition and they are able to do the upgrade to the Block 2 airframe, I wonder if they'd consider making it a separate model so players and admins have the option of choosing which they want to use ?
  13. The module is out tomorrow so not much of a window for pre-ordering :) But there is meant to be a $10 discount, making the module $69.99, for the rest of the year.
  14. What are the "facts available" that show that the SD-10 performance in DCS is "unrealistic" ? Not just that it's currently better than the DCS AIM-120C but that the missile's absolute performance is wrong.
  15. AIUI these ICP controls are a hangover from the earlier blocks (40 & 42 ?) which carried the (2 part) LANTIRN pods with NAVFLIR and TFR functionality rather than the Litening and Sniper pods carried on the Block 50
  16. And with the Patch notes going up about an hour earlier to trigger a frenzy of excitement.
  17. If you have data showing that the JF-17 (which almost no-one has got to try yet) or the S-10 are incorrectly modelled then I'm damn sure Deka would love to have that info.
  18. That's the way I read it but I don't know how that would work since it'll still be dependence on ED releasing the Open Beta Update with the aircraft files and all the supporting changes to the core program (unless DCS will be releasing the update on Tuesday ?)
  19. Should that have been TWS rather than RWS ?
  20. Same here and I'm running a combination of relatively weak CPU and old GPU so anything hammering either of those is very noticable. Are there any harware comonalities between PCs where the issue is aparent ?
  21. I'm seeing the same thing as well. It's possible that as with the STT line on the HSD not being shown for ownship lock there's been a change since Wags video but if that is the case a confirmation would be nice.
  22. Seems very plausible though maybe not the Hawk after the problems with the previous version
  23. Are you free for a PM chat as I'm having a few problem with my new cougar sensor ?
