  1. Bumping again, will someone at ED please just acknowledge this is an issue?
  2. Bumping this thread too because this has been an issue since the SA-2 has been added, with zero explanation why.
  3. Bump. Please ED, this really should be an easy fix. This SAM is absolutely useless in its current state, and I absolutely refuse to believe that it's working as intended.
  4. Bump. If this is truly not a bug as previously stated, can we please at least get some kind of answer as to why the SA-2 is not performing as well it's infamous track record in the Vietnam War implies?
  5. This is not the first time it has come up, and every time it does come up, it is said to not be a bug. Can we at least get an explanation as to why this missile being unable to detonate and destroy a B-52 flying straight and level is not a bug? The missile also needs proper Proportional Navigation, as it currently it is at 0.5 all the way to the target, resulting in a miss behind pretty much 100% of the time, unless you intentionally fly into the missile. Should it not instead try to fly ahead of the target and detonate to destroy it in a cloud of shrapnel?   7. Can confirm. Still broken on all other skill levels from my testing. A hornet flying straight and level @6000m and ~1200 km/h true airspeed will not have to change course at all if flying even slightly nose off of the site, and shots square to the site have absolutely no hope and fly far behind its target. This really needs to be fixed ASAP for these SAM systems to even be considered a threat.

  9. Yeah I know that, but I'm looking to spawn the aircraft away from an airfield. I feel like this could open up many opportunities for missions if it is possible.
  10. Hi, sorry for the late reply. I tried the script in another mission and it seemed to work fine again... Not really sure what changed to be honest, but thank you for the help anyway.
  11. Hi, is it possible to use the AI_A2A_DISPATCHER but spawn the aircraft in the air in a zone instead of at an airfield? Also, is it possible to use the AI_CAS script in a similar way where aircraft are spawned continuously at an airfield or zone? Kind of like a CAS version of the AI_A2A_DISPATCHER. Thanks.

Nothing seemed to get them to spawn, only when I chose Russia would they spawn a bunch of blue T-72s etc. Thanks in advance.
  13. Well Russia and USA was on Blue, so I wanted to make the USAF Aggressors country be the red armor. Unfortunately it didn't want to spawn anything unless I set the country.id to Russia.
