I pre-ordered it yesterday. Now it's time for another wait, I hope it's not too long. Although I really like flying the F-14, because it's a carrier based aircraft, now I can't wait to get into the cockpit of this fantastic F-4E... and fly. I've carefully read every detail of this module, available on the HB website, as well as following threads concerning revealed aspects explained and clarified gradually. You at HB have created a masterpiece, truly above all expectations. Jester who finally interacts with the player (and for those who, like me, fly single) is much appreciated. A realistic detail in the connection of the various components that leaves us speechless, as is the wear and tear option, stunning. From the video trailer, I also have high expectations for the flight model, as it's an aircraft that needs to be managed carefully and can give a lot of satisfaction. I can't wait for the manual to be available, just to gain familiarity and while waiting for the module to be released. Col trackhat riesci a seguire efficacemente altri aerei anche in manovre dove generalmente col trackir ti escono dai limiti dei sensori? Questa limitazione mi sta pesando davvero tanto col trackir, sia nelle BFM che in alcune missionin in formazione. L'hai gia' provato con DCS? Grazie in anticipo per l'attenzione.

First of all a huge THANK YOU for the new 2.9 OB version. At present I'm very satisfied. The loading and closing times of sim are much shorter, the fps has improved considerably. I'm trying some new features, such as anti-aliasing, lod factor, etc. I've done some flights with F-14s in the Marianas terrain and I don't encountered any problems. I report some informations from my computer, if it's useful to you. Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770K CPU @ 3.50GHz RAM 32.0 GB Win 10 pro 64 bit NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti I've a small request. It's possible to add, in the Module Manager, another option, an "update" box for each individual terrain installed (like to already existing enable/disable or remove option). So, when you release a big update, we can choose, by checking the box or not, whether to update the terrain immediately or do it later. Bear in mind that some of us have slow or expensive connections, and this could solve the problem easily, without having to remove the terrain and then reinstall it later. Thanks for your attention. VSN_F4B. I generally don't install unofficial Mods, but this one satisfied me ... waiting for the HB F-4E. I hadn't used it for about two weeks and busy with the F-14 I forgot about it.

So maybe it's better to leave the pre-order alone and release the module directly. If the release is really imminent they can concentrate better on the final stages of development and nothing changes for us. Not even for them I think, because upon release many will be ready to buy this exciting module, supporting their expenses and their investment.

I sincerely apologize, but I forgot a mod installed some time ago. I also did a repair and the flight time is recorded correctly. Thanks again for support. Antonio.

I've been doing some night flights with F-14s and checking the logbook I noticed that night flight time is counted as daytime flying. Has this happened to others too? Can anyone verify? Thank you in advance. Antonio.

and I too can't wait to fly with this masterpiece. Honestly I love F-14B, but since I read the announcement about the F-4E I thought I would make an exception, and today after seeing the cockpit screens I decided that I'll fly with this planes too. Thank you very much HB for this outstanding work.

@PeeJott17 This's really a big and beautiful update. It seems to me that the flight and trim inputs are a little more sensitive (I fly F-4B), or is it just my impression? I've deleted the previous version and installed the new one. But I left the old files in Config/Input. That's right? Also thanks for the instructional videos.

Yes, loading times have improved significantly for me as well. Thanks a lot ED for the continuous and (I think) not always easy work to improve and develop this great sim.

I don't know if it's really a bug, but I want to know something about it. I can't set the radar altimeter low altitude warning to 5000 feet, it always shows 4500 feet. This happens regardless of cold/hot start, ground/carrier/inflight start, control knob/keyboard use. Honestly this doesn't change my life, but I would like to know more. This report is really impressive and I think it should be digested slowly, at least for me. Thanks for sharing. I look forward to trying these FM refinements with the F-14B as well. This's particularly interesting to me. I bought F-14 at the end of January and I haven't stopped flying it since. But I noticed that the bolter percentage is much higher than with FA-18C. Still, I'm thrilled with this aircraft. Excellent work. I will look forward to these future updates as well.
