  1. Outstanding work!!! Thank you very much for this upcoming update.
  2. Check pag.1, FA-18C last updated 21/08/2021. and of course, thank you so much Chuck for updating the FA-18C guide!
  3. Thanks for pointing this out, it's correct. For those who already own DCS Syria, this addon would be paid, for all the others only a single larger map would be available at a higher price. I just wanted to express my opinion about a probable expansion of this map, which I think is more interesting towards the South than towards the East. However, I'm more than satisfied with DCS Syria and there is more than enough terrain for me to fly over.
  4. DCS Syria is a wonderful map (thank You very much UGRA), and at present the final version has been released (newsletter 18 June 2021). Meastro, on March 26, 2021, wrote that will be a big update that will capture the territories east of the Euphrates (Eastern portion of Syria), therefore without expanding the consistency of the current map. However, the expansion of the island of Cyprus and more, makes it clear that it is possible to add more territories to existing DCS maps (at least to the more recent ones). Already this map offers a great geopolitical variety, allowing great flexibility in the creation of historical and modern events. IMHO, I hope Ugra can seriously consider further expanding the current map by adding territories down to the 32nd parallel north, so as to include almost all of Israel, a large part of Jordan, a small slice north of Saudi Arabia and the coast of Egypt: all the eastern basin of the Mediterranean Sea! Of course, a consistent and demanding job, certainly up to the skill already demonstrated by Ugra. And of course, this expansion would have to be paid for, but it would give us the possibility to expand even more the variety of historical events of a certain importance, and make this map a much more must-have than it is now. antonio.
  5. I currently fly almost exclusively with FA-18c and SC of course. So, thank you so much ED for your hard work in improving these modules and fixing bugs. A truly appreciated commitment
  6. Yes, thank you very much Ugra for these great additions, improvements and fixes. A woderfull map
  7. excellent work, thanks for sharing. But now the wait is getting more and more intense Excellent work, thanks for sharing. But now the wait is getting more and more intense ...
  8. @ED thank you so much, you are really doing a great job with the Mariana Islands map. The images are suggestive, full of details. It will be a real pleasure to fly there. We are waiting, the engines are running ...
  9. @MAESTRO thanks, great pictures, great map, as always. when?
  10. Thank you so much Chuck, punctual and accurate as always.
  11. @MAESTRO each time you amaze us more and more. Really surprising all these details, but also the scenario as a whole. I think a swim is even more appreciated after a good flight over this exciting scenery, so ... when can we fly there? summer is fast approaching
  12. @MAESTRO A MASTERPIECE!!!. We can't wait to fly into this scenario with all these improvements and additions. THANK YOU, Syria is really a wonderful map.
  13. From 2.7 update, the time in the debriefing always starts from 0.00, regardless of the time of takeoff (day or night) and is always REGISTERED in the logbook as a NIGHT FLIGHT. Attached some screnshots, comparing the logbook before and after a short daytime flight of a few minutes. Antonio.
  14. I sure will. I don't understand how I could have missed it, considering I often follow FA-18 and SC forums, especially your guides, explanations, tips and the like. Thanks again.
  15. Hi Pieterras, thank you so much for taking time to make such an excellent video tutorial about Cyclic Ops full CASE I recovery. antonio.
  16. Chuck, thank you very much. This guide has always been essential to understand and fly F/A-18C in a simple and progressive way.
  17. I'm looking forward to flying over these wonderful detailed lands. Thanks.
  18. Maestro, thanks for sharing your work and screenshots. Truly remarkable efforts to improve the content already available: the difference is impressive. And thanks also for improving night operations at the airports.
  19. + 1 I too have noticed this lack. I didn't want to appear too pushy, but I would expect more regard for FM rather than weapons. It is true that DCS is a combat simulator, but the weapons exist by virtue of the aircraft (in this case) that load and use them. As defined in the F/A-18C Hornet Roadmap features (June 2, 2020), the FM update includes Update flight model for ground effect, takeoff pitch effects, auto-pilot based on FPM, touch and go handling, and other remaining flight model issues. I also look forward to the closely related carrier "Burble" effect. Thanks.
  20. Pieterras, thanks for clarification about 600 ft in case of CQ launches straight. I will correct my exercises.
  21. Well, I've already read the whole Cyclic Ops guide. I had already studied your Aircraft Carrier Operating Procedures for DCS guide and I recommend reading it first, then moving on to the Cyclic Ops guide, which I think is an excellent complement. some feedbacks: - the example in the "Fuel Ladder" section is very good. - in the "Execution of the Airplan" section you have allowed us to participate and be involved in the planning context. Thanks. - the diagrams / illustrations of "The pattern from above" section are very useful. For some time I had already prepared my own Cyclic Ops based on the Aircraft Carrier Operating Procedures for DCS guide, and with your last guide I had the satisfaction of having correctly understood much of the planning and mission, even with the limitations of DCS. Let's really hope that ED can give us the chance to fly CQ and Cyclic Ops. And thanks for the video Antonio
  22. SIR, THANK YOU VERY MUCH. Your guides are always a point of reference. Thanks again for making and sharing them. Antonio.
