I don't know if it's really a bug, but I want to know something about it. I can't set the radar altimeter low altitude warning to 5000 feet, it always shows 4500 feet. This happens regardless of cold/hot start, ground/carrier/inflight start, control knob/keyboard use. Honestly this doesn't change my life, but I would like to know more. This report is really impressive and I think it should be digested slowly, at least for me. Thanks for sharing. I look forward to trying these FM refinements with the F-14B as well. This's particularly interesting to me. I bought F-14 at the end of January and I haven't stopped flying it since. But I noticed that the bolter percentage is much higher than with FA-18C. Still, I'm thrilled with this aircraft. Excellent work. I will look forward to these future updates as well.

Thank you very much near_blind, that was just what i needed to know. And you are right, it doesn't depend on the previous mission. I've created other short missions from scratch and this "distortion" due to carrier's own magnetic field and induced magnetic field is always present with F-14 on the deck. I thought I'd made some mistakes and instead this information had escaped me, also because the FA-18c in the sim does not seem to be affected by this problem. Thanks again

First of all congratulations on the wonderful F-14 module. I've always taken advantage of free-trial periods of this module and two weeks ago I decided to buy it. I'm really satisfied!!! And now my problem. I've created a short mission to practice CQ (Marianas map, CVN-71, mission starts with my F-14B ready for takeoff on CAT 1). From time to time I change the weather conditions and consequently also the direction and speed of the carrier. After making these changes, my F-14 keeps the direction of the previous mission in the HUD, BDHI, VDI, HSD and even on the compass. I replaced the F-14 with the FA-18C and the highlighted heading is now correct, according new carrier's direction. I dont understand. Can someone help me? Or maybe it's a bug? and sorry if someone has already reported this. example: I fly FA-18C in the sea of PG. The average air temperature at sea level between the Arab Emirates and Iran (obtained daily online from weather sites) is on average 23-26 degrees, even in the months of December, January and February, rarely dropping to 16-20 degrees . In DCS (weather static conditions) in December the air temperature is stuck at a maximum of 15 degrees. Please can you unlock temperatures in ALL maps? In this way everyone will be able to set the local air temperatures of the area in which he will fly. Thanks in advance.

The degrees on the compass rose (in F10 map) are difficult to read, at least for me, even with eyeglasses. Please, is it possible: - make the degrees numbers sharper or bigger (even better)? - add some more colors besides the current one? - add another (selectable) double sized compass rose? I don't want to make controversy or start sterile debates, but I think similar features in a flight simulator completely out of place. There should be an option for those who want to activate these features and not vice versa, for those who don't want to have them. However, thanks to Bignewy (for autoexec.cfg) to remove these, in my opinion, senseless features.
