Thanks for answer. I do understand all those functions you have listed and how to operate them, so my question is what is the Cntrl button on TGP for? As when I select it nothing happens. Is it not enabled yet (which is fine) or should it do something when pressed. For example how do you change the Lat Long to MGRS on TGP screen, is that possible? Would think that TGP cntrl button would allow those sort of things. All i'm asking is 1: Is cntrl page working yet and if so what does it do.

Hi, not sure if this has been modelled yet. But can't find any info on if it has. So will ask if the TGP cntl page works or not. I am unable to select it, so can't change co ordinates and display settings etc for TGP. Am I missing something? Cheers

Wow, really surprised you find it flies better. I have the exact opposite. Whereas before I could fly it fairly smoothly, now it's all over the place, abrupt changes in pitch make it almost uncontrollable. To the point where I have decided to not fly it until it's fixed. I went back to the MI8 which I hadn't flown in a while and it was amazing, predictable control at all phases of flight, ok VRS is still a bit over modelled I think! But such a joy to fly, whereas I find the Apache in it's latest rendition to be a wild beast that I can't tame, I'm fighting it the whole time and it's not much fun. Hopefully it will be worked on and be at least predictable. I'm afraid I've given up for now as it's exhausting trying to fly it smoothly.

For what it's worth I was surprised and disappointed that they couldn't be bothered to throw in some instant action missions to show off their creation. Especially considering they have taken so long to develop and release it. I think it will take a few years before they have it up to a good standard. As someone who isn't into messing with mission editor etc, would have been nice if the developers could have populated some airfield traffic etc and created instant access missions. All seems a bit amateur to me and I slightly regret buying it in the state it's in. Oh well I guess that's what early access is, but I hope they can add these soon.

I'm fairly sure in real life it's much easier to know where your Cyclic is at. Sitting in your pyjamas in front of a monitor with a desktop joystick however, maybe not so much. Whilst I'm all for realism, in this specific case I think a joystick trim reset option would be a great addition. Those that don't want it can not use it. Just give people options. I have every helicopter in the sim and for me not having this option makes it much harder to fly the Apache smoothly.

Yea no real surprise, I was very doubtful it was coming Dec, just with the timings of the video's, and start up video not able to be made as they were waiting on stuff to be completed. Despite Wags keeping saying 2021, I was hopeful but remained sceptical. Just as well. Roll on January

This is amazing news, with everyone benefiting from arguable the best developer in DCS. I was concerned at the start that the Eurofighter was such a big project for a new developer. Now with HB on board this will be an awesome aircraft and a day 1 purchase for me. So happy to hear this news. Good luck to all involved.

Hi NorthStar, Might be a longshot, but worth opening up the base, with desktop mount, only 4 small screws, and checking the wiring, make sure it's not catching or routed in a way where movement of the gimbal can interfere or pinch a wire. Cheers Neil

Hi, I have exactly the same issue. Totally useless at night. Also laser range finder is stuck at 5860 m. No matter where i point the sight and lase.

I thought It was broken or something. Had no Idea this was a design choice! Wow, it's truly awful. Please bring back the old one, which was great to navigate and view.

Thanks for your feedback. I can handle difficulty. I spent a long time landing, taxiing taking back off and re landing all around the crowd with no success. That is just frustrating. No skill involved in that whatsoever and just makes for a very frustrating and frankly annoying experience. As is landing on the roof and if the helicopter is slightly misaligned you have to take back off and try again, you get a mission failed message! That's just a waste of time and in my opinion annoying. Will try out those videos, thanks for your info.

Ok then, give us a clue. How do I open mission 2 in the mission editor. I can't face flying misison 1 over again trying to find the right pixel space to land in!

And I switched to 136 and heard the message to hover taxi red by crowd, I did all that.

Ok I give up, Just wasted another hour on this. Landed on roof flew back to base. Hovered over the crowds/people, landed in front of flags/people/moved around. No acknowledgement of completed mission!! I quit mission and guess what, it starts again from first mission.This is just a massive waste of my time and totally frustrating. How can I progress without having to keep repeating the same thing over and over? Without trying to be rude I have to say that this campaign seems like an exercise in frustration.
