  1. =RvE=MicroVAX AJS37 Viggen Could you clarify how many lives each Pilot will have, the event Post has these two statements: "each pilot only has one life so every kill counts!" and "3 lifes per pilot"
  2. I have my ECMD export set to a height to width ratio of 1:1,21928 and its circular. If you just mod one of the default dcs monitor export config files it will stretch it to the size of second monitor, you have to create your own custom one to not have that happen to it.
  3. I have an F4E HCU which afaik worked in very similar ways to the one in the F14. It is springloaded to the center position via a single spring, the mechanism itself pretty much is the same type as the x55 uses, except obviously its all _a lot_ beefier.
  4. Sidelobes I agree that DCS exagerates that part a bit but assuming you need to be in the mainlobe to get a RWR detection isnt accurate either.
  5. As a simpit builder myself, I recommend learn to make your own bindings. Its easily possible within DCS, I pretty much have no AC without modded input luas. :)
  6. Unfortunately I have to cancel my entry. Good luck everyone S!
  7. Thanks Moltar and Vatikus and Stuge for the open ears, on my proposal. Plot twist comes now though, the index I proposed and used in the past doesn't work like I thought it did and in fact thus doesn't do what I intended it to do. That it did show improved results in terms of tighter groupings in more performance categories over purely time indexed fuel loads was basically luck. :D I did try to come up with a few other performance indexes, to actually do what I wanted them to do but in the end I came to the conclusion that without spending much more time on building a more complex metric, or introducing other constraints to the rules, endurance is pretty much the best bet to have a fight between dissimilar platforms. So my suggestion is actually to change nothing about the way the fuel loads are indexed. :D So mark this one in your calendars. :D
  8. 1) The M2k doesn't have an option to load 60 flares, what will be its flare complement 2) Will premerge maneuvering compliance and 3/9 line passage be determined automated or by the referee ? //EDIT: has been answered, decision will be referee based 3) A purely time based fuel index has shown to be flawed in dissimilar combat in the past since it fixes one factor, being endurance, which is by design dissimilar, and thus scales all other performance factors around it, and thus limiting fighting options. A ratio based index of for example endurance and thrust to weight ratio, which represents a general index of how aggressive or long term a fight can be fought, has shown to represent the dissimilarities of designs much more faithfully since both performance and endurance are available to all platforms at the same ratio, leaving only design choices of the platform in charge of what the pilot actually can do with that. //EDIT: data for feasibility analysis is being prepared EDIT: 4) In case the F14 releases in time, what will be the rule on JESTER usage ?
  9. EDIT: Cancelled Event: 1v1 Squadron Name: RvE Teamspeak/Discord: RvE Discord Contact person: myself Aircraft Selection: m2k or F/A-18 UFO Pilot: GER - =RvE=MicroVAX Collections of questions regarding the rules will be posted later. S!
  10. Heatblur, the way its meant to be developed TM. Hands down best dev in DCS.
  11. From what I know about MJ2 it wouldn't scratch a T55 anywhere except the rear maybe. But even the rear armour is 45mm RHe inclined at 17 deg. So, yeah it isn't viable against modern tanks, it shouldn't be viable against t55, but should shred lightly armoured tin cans like BMPs BTRs Bradleys and most artillery pieces. I wasn't able to retest after the change yet how it goes against light armour atm. MJ1 wont do anything against any armour, we are talking about 0.6-1 gram or lighter fragments. Any armour is going to stop them basically.
  12. Unfortunately, and im cursing doing this, i have to resign again. I had the timeslot blocked away but have fallen ill last week so i need to make up some ground and got to resign unfortunately. x) hope the event goes well ! S!
  13. lock the target in ppi, then it will auto track, the aimpoint is for guns indeed.
