  5. It's not a bug... It's the standard way of reading wind. North-East(Arrow to 045) wind means the wind is COMING from the North-East.
  6. I found a lot of videos on CV mods, but I just couldn't find any downloadable mod right now... anyone have any mods to share? I saw this awesome CV-74 model on YT that had functioning elevators and 4k textures. I am guessing this guy is working with ED for the future module? I downloaded the source and found a .max file. Has anyone checked it out and attempted to convert it to an .edm file?
  7. Will we be able to interface with commandable ships to make them do more specific tasks? And are there any additional modern vessels planned?
  8. I looked at all the .lua scripts for the sounds and it seems like the sounds for the Phalanx and Cannon should work perfectly but in game they don't work at all. In game logs any time the phalanx fires it's labelled as AAA 01. Anyone know what that is about? I am working on a scripted DCS naval warfare scenario and it kinda sucks with the bug. Russian CIWS sounds seem to work though, I sense a bit of Russian bias here. :D

  12. @crazyeddie Nope nothing, I tried changing the .lua values and didn't see any difference or did you mean a different .lua file not the ones that are included with the mod? @Hawkeye I assume it worked with default DCS ships? Appreciate the help.
  13. So I download this mod created by markindel, and it is a very decent model with detailed animations and weapons. I am currently making a somewhat limited naval warfare mod(combined arms included) by editing the .lua files and creating additional scripts for naval units, I plan to do a demonstration of my work on my Youtube channel and will also share any of my work if complete. The problem I am having right now is the Y position of the ship which is too high. The red part of the hull is too visible and it does not look too pleasant. :( I am not experienced in advanced 3D modelling nor have I used any version of 3DS max. What I want to do is decrease the level so that the red part is not visible.   14. I am trying to find it somewhere in the eagle dynamics directories. The problem I am having is with the new mod that I installed(USS Arleigh Burke class destroyer) and its position is way too high above the water where you can see the red "weight section" of the hull, I just want to lower it slightly so it looks better when making cinematics. :P
