Hey, I used to fly on VAT SKYLINE Phantom Control a ton back in the day before the server went offline. Is this coming back or is this something else? Thanks

Will this ever be fixed? What if I fall back to an earlier version of dcs? Also, it would have been nice to address this somewhere. I thought I was having a Mandela Effect moment until I realized I sent the intro pdf to a friend. Thanks.

You'll save more money by complacently ignoring miles and just wait for things to be on sale. All miles do is encourage you to buy more expensive modules when not on sale in order to get more miles. And all you will do is end up paying more over all in hopes of getting something for free.

One thing I should note is that I have tried using 'F14' as the folder name as that is what it is in the DCS World\Mods\aircraft. Also, sorry for all the edits in the last post. sBryansGames

** The quote feature failed for this. Not sure why.** Calinho, Someone already has a mod for that on the B model. It gives you a clean easy to read cockpit. This should be an option for the F-14 Tomcat to begin with. If you're just started learning it helps if you're able to read the cockpit labels. Anyway, you can find it in the DCS user files. I should have been more specific. I meant when fireing off AIM-54s in STT. So as not to form bad habbits before it is modeled correctly.

My friend is having a similar problem but in the F-16. He can not get it to stop nosing down. I'll have to come back when the solution is posted. Just in case. XD

I notice this when forming up with the Viking and that thing is tinny compared to the Stennis. Does this deviation occur in TACAN yardstick with a buddy?

Try out turning a Mirage and get back to me. That thing is a UFO. Can't fly no where near as slow as that and still turn in the Tomcat. Not saying you can't win against the thing. Just got to be smart about it.

Hmm... I will have to tell my pilot not to crank around so much right after firing in stt. So far it seems the best way to do it. With those guys trying to hide in the weeds the TID and data-link is almost useless.

Basically never run anything on the TID. If they are on the TID they are either flying stupid or very close. This rings true even with the Data-Link running. I tend to run the radar off the DDD in Range While Scan. (Not sure if RWS is best for this irl. Just works for me in current build) Get that Main Lobe Clutter Filter off and the Eraser down low. You can catch things much further off and much lower in the weeds. Those weak returns you can get won't come up on the TID until hard lock. My biggest problem in the back seat is trying to remember what is modeled at the moment. I keep messing with the gain and getting nothing. Most everything on the left side of the DDD console is not modeled yet.

All the threads all the time!!! XD Anyway, why isn't anyone flying with a human RIO? I RIO 80% of my time flying in the Tomcat. Also I don't think jester is able to see a contact before it enters the TID. In multiplayer I can pick up targets much further out on the DDD. You can get them when they think they are hiding in the weeds even. Just got to get that Main Lobe Filter off and turn the Eraser down a ton then when they get in the Main Lobe Return just have your pilot speed up/slow down. Just takes a little work. Super simple after a little practice.

Hey I have a few of your Quick Checklists installed but the game no longer recognizes the F-14 checklist. I have it loaded into ...Saved Games\DCS\Kneeboard\F-14B by JSGME. I check and it is there but it does not work in game. Not sure why. Also, big fan of your F-14B checklists. When will we get one for the RIO? thanks sBryansGames

<EDITED> Hey Guys & Ciribob, I have a problem with DCS that is caused by Simple Radio. When I installed the server part of SRS a problem occurred where I couldn't click things within the top left part of my screen in DCS. I couldn't click part of the MissionEditor or the Multiplayer server filter options. I did an experiment and adding those files back in causes the problem. Removing them causes it to go away. I suppose I should report this to Ciribob on his SRS thread. Thanks for the help BIGNEWY! sBryansGames
