  1. That worked, thank you. Redownloaded, I must have gotten the incorrect version. I am able to fly. Thanks again. Tony
  2. I am redownloading at the moment. I will post back once I download the bs2 upgrade version and try to run. Thank you
  3. I have bs download version and bs 2 upgrade download version. I recently uninstalled old version of dcs world and installed latest version. All modules are ok except bs2. When I enter my serial number it says invalid serial number although it is right. What am I doing wrong? Thanks
  4. Hehehe yea. I think my F5 is about done as well.
  5. PERFECT!!! That worked! I am now flying both in DCS World. Thank you very much for the help, I appreciate it. Looking forward to buying LOCKON FC3!!! -) Tony
  6. Thanks EtherealN, sorry posted in the wrong forum. I got the message, working on it right now, thanks for helping out. >>Edit, I was having an install issue and EtherealN had it fixed in just a few minutes. Awesome customer service there!
  7. Hi EtherealN That did the trick with A10! However, I think I need to remove BlackShark2 and install BlackShark2 upgrade, as I installed BlackShark2 module, but I believe I originally bought blackshark from the store, then purchased the upgrade here. Let me try that and see how it goes. I am halfway there......I will post back with the results. Thanks for the help
  8. I purchased DCS BlackShark, BS2 and A10. I saw that DCS World was available. I downloaded it along with the BlackShark module and A10 module. Installed DCS World. Installed BlackShark and A10 modules. Ran it. It's ok except when I go to fly either BS or A10, it says this produce requires activation. Enter your serial number and press next. When I do that it says Activation denied by server. Invalid hardware code. Make sure the Serial Number used is valid for the product you are trying to activate, generate a new Hardware code and try again. I am stuck....help! Thanks Tony Sharp
  9. Not sure if I have the right forum, but I previously purchased BS, BS2 and A10. Instructions said to uninstall everything. Did that. Downloaded DCS world and modules BS and A10. Installed DCS World then the modules. All ok except when i go to fly it asks for the serial number again in both BS and A10. Tried to activate and it says invalid hardware. What did I do wrong?
  10. Yep missed that diveplane, thanks for that link.
  11. I d/l'd the full beta 3, wiped out the old install folders and registry entries. Installed beta 3, all ok except I can't get any of the nevada missions to run. Crashes the program. Any ideas? Thanks
  12. Thanks MemphisBelle! Using it now, very handy for learning the startup!
  13. Is it just a botched install or does anyone else's A-10 window title say "Mission Editor" when running in windowed mode? Thanks
  14. Me neither! Heck that 295 runs hot enough, I can imagine what the 495 temps will be. I have seen my 295 hit low 90c a few times, but I heard red line is 110c on those cards. I think I will probalby go for one of the 4xx series soon, I just really haven't been that happy with the 295 dual gpu, seems it should have more power than it does. I am probably in the 30s/40s fps with black shark in the pit, over 100 fps outside. I was expecting probably 50-60 in the pit with that card coupled with an OC'd I7 at 4ghz......just seems like I have a bottleneck with that card....
  15. Yes, I sure do, mostly flight sims and shooters. Shooters are great with this card, just FSX, X-Plane and DCS are a little hard on it -). Not bad FPS's but not the best in the world either.
  16. Thanks MTFDarkEagle. I have it OC'd at 4ghz and might push it more after I get a better cooler.
  17. Is there any advantage to upgrading from a single gtx295 to one of the 4xx series nvidia cards (460,470,480) for use in dcs? I know the sims are mostly processor dependant, but didn't know if this would help to get better FPS. I am running an I7-965ee at 4ghz, 6 gigs of corsair. Thanks
  18. Return to stock settings. Motherboard is first guess.
  19. Right on dude! I'd gladly pay $100 for this....$60 is cheap!
  20. Ok, just thought I missed something in the install....thanks
  21. Just a question, I have an I-7 965 overclocked at 4Ghz, a single GTX-295 and 6gb Corsair dominator. Sim runs pretty good, depending on what I am looking at anywhere from 20 to 60fps. Would a GTX-460, 470 or 480 make a difference? My guess is not much since this seems to be mostly processor dependent. Thanks
  22. Just a simple question. I read in the faq that the beta is planned to be updated every 2 weeks or so, and include an updater. Where do I find this or where can I get the latest update for the beta? Thanks
  23. So far, so good. Made 2 backups of the registry, also made a restore point. Did drive E: first, it had fewer programs than drive D:. Copied E:\program files (x86) to E:\games using xcopy. Ran Advanced Regedit, search and replaced value names value data key data from E:\program files (x86) to E:\games. Tested MS flight Sim X, 2004, XPlane, EECH2, Falcon 4, Falcon 4 Allied Force. ALL WORK JUST FINE! Next tried to start a remove in the control panel on some of the programs, they all work fine too, stopped when it asked are you sure? so I wouldn't actually remove them. Next up is drive D: (3 hours copy time lol)...... So basically, this will work if you want to do it, just be careful and make backups of what you are doing first incase something gets fubar'd!
  24. I may do this, I can make a copy of the registry before I start, then I took a look and I have enough free to actually copy the \program files to a different folder on each drive (\games). So if something goes south, I can just restore the registry and delete the copied over \games folder. I think also since the games and whatnot are not on the OS drive I think it should go off without a hitch. Will keep you posted on how it goes. Thanks.
