  1. 216.244.65.18:9990 Sorry lads we had a server issue and the DCS Community Teamspeak has moved to this updated address.
  2. Fixed it, just a small rookie oversight about the order in which I needed to apply my changes to DCS to get Helios to work correctly. New to the software, but getting better each time I need to tinker with it. Thanks for your help.
  3. FIXED - PLEASE IGNORE Hi Guys, My Helios is working with DCS World, but I cannot see anything behind Helios apart from the Left and Right CMFD. My primary monitor is 5904x1080 and my 2nd touchscreen is 1920x1080. DCS is configured at 7824x1080. My MonitorSetup lua is to blame I'm sure, but I can't for the life of me work this one out. I wish there was a way to upload a file here on this forum. Instead here's my lua. _ = function(p) return p; end; name = _('BMFCD'); Description = 'BMFCD' Viewports = { Center = { x = 0; y = 0; width = 5904; height = 1080; viewDx = 0; viewDy = 0; aspect = 5.466666666666667; } } RIGHT_MFCD = { x = 7454-144; y = 120; width = 445; height = 445; } LEFT_MFCD = { x = 6115-144; y = 120; width = 445; height = 445; } CMSC_SCREEN = { x = 6904-144; y = 141; width = 230; height = 49; } CMSP_SCREEN = { x = 7123-144; y = 190; width = 270; height = 70; } RWR_SCREEN = { x = 6648-144; y = 161; width = 175; height = 175; } DIGIT_CLOCK = { x = 6528-144; y = 830; width = 122; height = 122; } UHF_FREQUENCY_STATUS = { x = 6683-144; y = 565; width = 120; height = 30; } UHF_PRESET_CHANNEL = { x = 6796-144; y = 477; width = 30; height = 30; } UHF_REPEATER = { x = 6704-144; y = 695; width = 110; height = 30; } UIMainView = Viewports.Center
  4. With every new update I've lost my radio menus, now Helios. I have to start from scratch again and burn a day trying to get this working. But whats the point if the next micro update just resets and deletes all that work?
  5. Pete, I'll personally PayPal you $50.00 for your time if you can get this working. Those radio menus made it possible to play this game as it was intended. Love your work.
  6. Damn, just when I had these menus right where I wanted them thanks to PeterP's hard work, ED goes and tinkers with it. I would love to know if this will work with 1.2.1. A carton of beer to the first modder who gets this working.
  7. no idea how to imbed videos here, mods if you are keen you are free to edit this and pop them in. I'll do a better video soon. I'm pretty new to this 'making videos and putting it on Youtube' thing
  8. I have 6 gig at the moment, so I should update to 12? I'm running 4 x 1080p monitors so any proformance upgrade would be lovely if I get a noticeable difference.
  9. Thank You Dachs for pointing me in the right direction. Did a bit of research, played around and I have it working where I want it. Thanks mate.
  10. I have just recently begun playing DCS with triple monitors and a centre touch screen, which runs Helios and Cpt Loz's profile. I just wanted to say Thank You for your work here in moving the comms menus via the Lua files. I have spent the last 3 hrs tinkering using Hokie's profile that you made for him and I just added some extra res for my 3 screens. Both the UHF/Title Font, F1-12 Comms Menu and the corner Player Radio subtitles work perfectly. Thank You. Helios won't show up in my fraps screen shot here, but it was running and it fits the blank space under the engine dials Loz made for just this reason.
  11. A night ops version would be awesome! Loz thanks for the awesome profile and cheers Gadroc for this fantastic software. I have one small question. Very new to all this and you fine gents have completely changed my A-10 experience. I have the 4 monitors, 3 in eyefinity, centre mounted touchscreen. How do you guys use the Radio Communications menu? I see when the radio button on my warthog makes the engine dials disappear, did the comms menu originally sit under there? How do you use Helios and still see the menu options?
  12. Well Done!!!! You'll love it.
  13. I just got one too. They take awhile to set up and it helps to have another set of hands initially with essembling the frame. I'm rocking the triple mount, flight sticks, tables and have center mounted a touchscreen. If you have any questions just ask.
  14. Hi guys. I need some help. I have just bought one of these BK Gamer 2 units and the manual / directions are VERY basic. Setting up the cables was interesting as the + / - banana plugs that are connected to the rumble unit don't seem to fit into the back amp 'Class 2 Wiring Speaker Level Output' holes very well. Am I using the right cables? Motherboard orange center speaker/sub plug hole ----> into the BK cable splitter -----> and then into Red & black RCA which goes Black RCA into the Line Level Input in the Amp? Also what are your dial settings / Low / High / on or off for using the BK with DCS???? I can't seem to get mine to do anything. I'd love to get a rumble from that GAU-8. I have basic motherboard onboard sound (green, orange, black - 3.5 plugs) using Realtek HD Audio Manager. I'm using a 5.1 logitech Z906 speaker system. Is investing in a soundcard going to improve things?
  15. I'm using a HP Compaq L2206tm for Helios and I think it's great.
  16. Buy a set of Hi Fi headphones, and just get a $10 clip on zalman microphone that clips onto the cord. I'm using some Audio Technica's and after a gaming session here 3 of my friends ran out and bought them. Those AKG's that was suggested are great also. Gaming headphones aren't the best.
  17. We are attaching it to the front of the AEF website in the future, so both the AEF and DCS Community TS3 will show up here in a few weeks. But in the meantime just jump in and say hi.
  18. Sorry for the late reply. It's based out of Sydney. We have guys from all over using the DCS Community Teamspeak with little issue: Australia, Japan, China, Canada, US, Afghanistan, UK. Attendance varies due to when people game on their side of the world, but there is always someone online. Last night we had about 25+ guys all piled into the teamspeak, jumping into DCS and saving the world. 161 SQN is currently running some open 'organised missions' each week and that attracts a crowd with a penchant for realism. This is what we have been up too over the last month. CLICK HERE We also have a few 'side fringe channels' for those who want to play other supported sim titles like iRacing, BMS, and few other games. But DCS is the big title which the greater community flocks around.

  21. Hey everyone. The 161 SQN is running a dedicated server for you guys to enjoy. It's kicking out of Sydney and great pings for both Aussies and the Kiwi's. All welcome. Happy flying.
  22. Hi guys. I have recieved a few emails regarding this over the months. I didn't end up buying it. It's not for sale because I don't actually own this. MRVC controls are no longer made as far as my 30 minutes searching could yeild. I could be wrong and I hope I am, it's awesome kit. Wish I could be of more help for you guys.
