Tried the Alt+Enter at the main menu when I started DCS, Mine locked up when I tried to start another mission

well it just crashed again on a 2nd mission.... This time I went to instant action after running a mission. dcs.log-20210423-204315.zip

I cleared those two folders. I started my mission, then after it was running I quit the mission. I hit replay mission and it worked! I tried this twice in a row. (note: I only cleared the folders once) Previously, quitting and replaying would always cause a crash. I will keep playing around with it and hopefully the issue will be resolved. Thanks RoxSy

I'm having the same issues, I'm using Open Beta I have 2 bought (ED) modules and 2 Bought maps. I originally downloaded DCS about a month ago on a new computer and I haven't really changed anything. I'm flying a simple air to air mission I created in Mission Editor, but it does it on all missions. This never happened before 2.7. This is getting Old... Since the new update DCS crashes almost 100% of the time when I try to replay a mission in single player. If I quit and restart it usually doesn't crash. There was another update yesterday, but no change. I'm pretty new to DCS, I sent my crash reports but didn't save. I'll try to post them in the future. I noticed the other thread, I'm using the Open Beta

Any insight to how much extra was paid for shipping/Taxes etc? I know numbers will be specific to weight of what was actually purchased.

I'm new to DCS and live in the US.. I invested in a computer that can handle anything DCS can throw at it. My original plan was to buy a Thrustmaster Warthog hotas. If pricing wasn't crazy and availability almost non existent, I would have bought one. So instead I decided to pick up a used Thurstmaster T16000M to get me by and wait it out. After some research I quickly realized that there may be some better options than the Warthog. My budget is 1K (+/-) for a complete setup with desk mounts minus rudder pedals ( I have some TFRP's that will work for now). I play Elite Dangerous, so I like the Z twist axis, but its not a deal breaker. My 3 top choices are: Virpil, WinWing and VKB. But unfortunately I cant seem to find any information on where to buy these in the US. It looks like the WinWing is direct ordered from China; for those who have purchased WW in the US, what was your shipping costs? When I google the Virpil and VKB all I get is Thrustmaster stuff, or UK pricing. So my real question is, Those in the US that bought one of the three hotas', where did you buy it and what is a good estimate on shipping costs? Thanks, David

I'm an old 19Kilo too, I was on the OG M1. I'm in the same place as you in DCS, total NOOB. I picked up a used Thursmaster T16000M hotas to start with till higher end Hotas's are available again, but I cant seen to find where to buy Hotas' in the US (other than the Warthog). I Invested in a good computer, and decided to start with the F-18 Hornet as a good all around do everything module to start with and learn. I also love WWII aircraft so I picked up the P-47 with the Normandy map of course. I'm looking at WinWing and Virpil Hotas's. It looks like you can only order the WinWing direct from China, any idea of shipping cost to the US? good luck and Thanks, David

I think I have it worked out.. Apparently controls will bind in some areas but not others. I could bind the Trim in the flight control section, but not the Axis Control section, even though it's listed in both. Thanks Saburo! I figured it out as you were typing your response. Thanks for the help

I'm fairly new to DCS and struggling with my new P-47. I have the Thrustmaster T.160000M Hotas with the TFRP pedals. I have the most resent version of DCS Open Beta. I fly the F-18C and the Trainer P-51 and I have had no problems assigning controls to my Hotas. In fact the trainer P-51 had most things assigned by default, the P-47 has nothing. I was able to get basic flight controls assigned, but that's it. For some reason in the Assignment Panel it is not recognizing any of the buttons on my Hotas. An example is Trim (see screen shot), on the P-51 the trim was assigned to the Stick Hat by default. when I try to assign the aileron trim to the same button with the P-47 I only have the 4 primary axis controls available. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, David

Thanks for the help, but I have gone to the config file referenced, but the only file there is input.. There is no option.lua

Thanks for the help, but the only file I have in my Config is 'input' with my joystick settings. Am I missing something? I also searched win 10 and I didn't find any virtual monitor settings. Thanks DD
