Have you tried setting processor and ram speeds to stock? I noticed on same programs that the number of faults per second go up as I ramp up my processor and ram speed. Try slowing both down 100hz.

I'm with this guy. 100%. Tried it in CV1 rift two years ago inside the mirage 2k and that single aircraft with its red dials convinced me it was better feeling. Don't use the CV1 because of the funky resolution but, waiting to order the Reverb soon so I can go back in.

MP Server Just noting as another individual who has waited a long time to see the possibility of using server code that handles many more units moving and firing on the server at once without tanking the frame rate into the 15-20 fps range. Maybe using a multithreaded approach to the data crunching on the server side? I've bought about half of the modules over years hoping to have this come, but have held off obtaining any more until there is something more tangable released. Would happily spend endless hours tinkering with personally created missions once there is progress. Have gut feeling 5-10 ai B17s all firing against nearby enemy aircraft will simply cause severe issues for servers currently. Looking forward to any improvements coming on the server capability front and any improvements to ww2 units / content updates.

For what its worth, the latest 2.2 update freezes permanently for me every 20-30 minutes, but is buttersmooth on Normandy. So I wouldn't use it as a benchmark. Previous version was stable, but had stutters.

Is your cpu overclocked in any way. I've had this kind of thing happen when I increase cpu Ghz. With or without increasing voltage. Its also happened when I bought ram that has the clock numbers // 9-0-0-1 (whatever) mismatched slightly.

I have 4k and currently see really good picture with MSAA set to off and FXAA turned on in NvidiaPanel.Also have Transparency setting to off in Nvidia Panel.

Hi, I'm new to dcs world (fairly). Can you tell me if its possible to change the number of terrain LOD lines used by the program manually? I would like to double it from 5 to 10 for example. Based on other Sims this should be possible.

After observing repeated comments regarding maps for DCS theatres, I wish to ask why are there no official third party groups dedicated to Maps only. There are groups of people wishing to create the next great aircraft, but looking from the sidelines, it seems there are buckets of money (or gold if you are the guy in NY) to be made just from creating the next few theatres everyone wants...some that come to mind are Korea, Different parts of WW2 Europe, WW2 Africa, Eastern Front. The aircraft and modern units are there already, or will be there in the near future for WW2. So why is this topic something rarely touched by potential third parties? Is it that there is just more money in aircraft? I would disagree based on the little info I can glean from observations.

The labels get smaller for me as I up the pixel density. 1.5 seems to be a sweetspot as far labels are concerned.

On cold manual starts only in 1.5. My 109 engine seizes up 30 seconds after lift off even though temps are nowhere near max, and I keep the engine at 1 atm. Rad control is set to automatic. Anyone get the same issue?

In 2 years "magic leap" hardware may be the best option for vr. I hope DCS is starting to write software to support it.

You would just need to install their latest driver and it will work fine With Windows 10. Had same issue.
