  1. are you ryzen users still diabling SMT in the bios and disabling core 8 or isnt it needed now?
  2. BoB has been done enough and thats coming from an englishman. imo italy and sciliy would be far more interesting
  3. turn the gunsight brightness all the way to max and leave it there for a couple of seconds and it will uncage the pipper. once the pipper is uncaged you will be able to adjust the brightness accordingly. not sure why its modelled like this as its incorrect but it is what it is. anyhow thats how you do it
  4. sorry i dont know what to say as i cant replicate it, i even ran the water dry in one on the third run. maybe its to do with the active pause as i did my tests moving
  5. just out of curiosity you are locking the water button or using a mapped button that will stay in a depressed state. edit i can see you are thats interesting as myself or squad mates dont get that issue. also i very rarely have to have the oil cooler fully open also could you please share how you did that cockpit photo
  6. yes agreed thats what our 30 should look like with the minus or the jettison handles down by the left thigh. it is curious why it changed when they had it right in the first place. 30 early make it a 27 or get rid of it. although there is probably less work in correcting the early and getting rid of the late and just call it 30
  7. Is there any news/update on when we will be able to mount the R60s on the inner pylons. It would enable us to not decide between taking rockets/atgms for having to sacrifice some self defence. Thanks
  8. That's interesting, I'm a Jug main normally but being playing the whirly birds lately and find the Hind by far the easiest to fly. I suppose we all have a different feeling of what feels natural
  9. Right ok. Yeah I was rifling tanks in the Hind and a squad member was picking up my launches way to the North of me and was able to find me using that. So I take it that's not how it works in the real thing then
  10. So does it pick up missiles that are launched even that aren't locked or launched at the apache
  11. Yes this bug is a big pain when flying the 47 upstairs. Please fix asap
  12. Until a track can be produced showing the bug then this falls into the 'skill issue' column
  13. Yeah looks like ive got mixed up with the back pressure regulator
  14. Yeah looks like the were added from the C-1. When they went from the -21 of the B to the -59 for the C-1 it was fitted with a A-17 turbosupercharger regulator

  16. Whilst I agree with the majority of what magic is saying I don't believe the 30 Early should be removed, but should have its systems updated to the system in the Pilots operating manual for this block and that is evident in the Air and Space Museums D-30RA. Here is a walk around video of her for those that haven't seen it https://www.google.com/search?q=smithsonian+museum+p47+cockpit+&client=ms-android-samsung-ss&sca_esv=570303733&sxsrf=AM9HkKkjupv0KfIBSIcwBZRQOlHgsI_FFQ%3A1696322872904&ei=ONUbZfnpNsW4hbIPou6RkA0&oq=smithsonian+museum+p47+cockpit+&gs_lp=EhNtb2JpbGUtZ3dzLXdpei1zZXJwIh9zbWl0aHNvbmlhbiBtdXNldW0gcDQ3IGNvY2twaXQgMgcQIRigARgKSJ2AAVDxCFjqenAGeAKQAQCYAYACoAGCEKoBBjAuMTMuMbgBA8gBAPgBAcICBBAAGEfCAgcQABiKBRhDwgINEC4YigUYxwEYrwEYQ8ICCBAAGIoFGJECwgIFEAAYgATCAgUQIRigAcICBBAhGBXiAwQYACBBiAYBkAYI&sclient=mobile-gws-wiz-serp&bshm=rimc/2#fpstate=ive&vld=cid:11889036,vid:Q4AEb5Mu7Zc,st:0 The AAF accepted it on October 27, 1944, and delivered the aircraft to Godman Field, Kentucky. The AAF operated the airplane on the U. S. East Coast primarily as an aerial gunnery trainer. On January 27, 1946, the AAF transferred it from the active inventory to the U. S. Army Air Forces Museum in Dayton, Ohio. So as this never went into active service and then went straight to Dayton is probably as close as it gets when rolling off the assembly line. I have emailed the museum asking if they can send me an image of the left thigh arming panel or tell me how many handles it has so hopefully they will reply However I do agree with Slippa and this is a great thread with some awesome information in
  17. I wouldn't get your hopes up that they will make a lot of money as they have had quite a hard and colourful life
  18. No the D-27 has a different front instrument panel and a few other differences in the cockpit. Plus a D-27 is a bubble top not a Razorback Although I would consider selling body parts for a Razorback
  19. Was going to start a new thread but I think Rob's is a better place tbh. It's something that's being bothering me for awhile in I think the D-30 early should have the same weapon release system as the D-30 late and it looks like we have an upto D-27 configuration Here is an image of the National Air and Space museums D-30RA which was used as an aerial gunnery trainer from '44 https://imgur.com/a/1iAfQLL Here is what it says about weapon release in the RL manual for the blocks we have in dcs https://imgur.com/a/5FqkeGE https://imgur.com/a/rqRl4Go https://imgur.com/a/wu5hL0W https://imgur.com/a/xiz5nIT So in conclusion we should only have the master arm switches down by the left thigh and no jettison handles. So should be the same in all 3 of our 47s https://imgur.com/a/Qx4c0sh Also what about adding a take off throttle stop, not massively needed but it would be nice to have the option
  20. If you are reading the manual edition I think you are then you reading a shut down procedure sequence that incorporates preparation for a cold weather start. This is the shut down procedure from a more generalised manual rather than block specific https://imgur.com/a/Ni0DxjZ
  21. 230 is maximum for A/L 260 is max for A/R. Up high around 30k you have to start thinking seriously about CHT in game
  22. +1 for this. Being able to clean up the ladder pattern or having just the USAAF ring pattern on the mkviii is night and day in the 47
  23. yeah im not 100% we should have the radar, the mirror was a pilot preference so to be able to have the option would be nice. headrest absolutely and same for the k-14 controls. i would also like to add the back up iron sight for the mkviii
  24. Agreed Rob, ED have certainly raised the bar on quality when it comes the Jug. These few minor corrections/adjustments would again take it to another level
