fixed Landing gear collapses after repair
Brigg replied to BlackBaron46's topic in Bugs and Problems
yeah repair in the 47 is a 50/50 situation at the moment. like the others have said unlike the other modules after repair you get placed back on the ground gently, in the jug it drops you like a sack of potatoes which in turn damages the gear. even if the initial repair wasn't for the gear -
Lovely story but unfortunately I don't think this post belongs in the Jug wish list section

This is excellent news, looking forward to see all the new period correct skins used on the N2 map while on escort duty. Good luck gents -

in the 30 early i have the wing pylon jettison on the EAC and RDR ALTM switches and the belly jettison on the red button on the left throttle. i dont drop everything in one pass unless i want a good TRAIN effect down a runway. Always both wings first then the belly

reported P-47 Instant blows up by hard landing after last patch
Brigg replied to 303_Kermit's topic in Bugs and Problems
Yeah there deffo seems to issue since the last update, today in the one life event we lost 4 jugs to a weird gear bounce. it seems to be related to mp, recieving damage in mp as we had some flak damage or just recieving damage in general. Also there seems to be a difference between sp and mp in how they feel when the wheels touch the runway. in the quick landing mission i just went 10/10 with various approaches and been intentionally rough with some of them and no explosion. mine in the one life happened while rolling down the runway -

Yeah this happened to me last night on 4ya, however it wasn't from landing. After doing a repair and as the plane was placed back on the ground it exploded and killed my pilot. -
I get that not every plane has a parking brake so maybe the priority might be higher for them. But for the 47 the priority isn't very high imo as things like oil dilution, back up iron sight, pilot headrest first imo
-
dont get me wrong they would be nice to have, however there are more important things that need either fixing or adding with all aircraft first. at the end of the day you still have a parking brake for a reason
-
Yeah as peachmonkey said it depends how the damage occurs, and reducing mp and rpm can extend its life. I have flown back over the channel multiple times with the metal chirping simply dy reducing mp and rpm after being damaged by flak

CAGE/UNCAGE artificial horizon Key-binding only uncage horizon
Brigg replied to Freedee's topic in Bugs and Problems
Yeah I hope this gets sorted to. having to reach to grab the mouse and locate the cursor is a right PITA when it's a heavily overcast mission. -
Yeah these need adding along with some of the 47s sorting out. It's kinda why the skin contests for both these planes was a bit of a failure imo.
-
there is no need to touch the oxygen valves it is an automatic system. the blinker will start once you reach and go over a certain altitude
-
Exactly that is the point, the 109 pilots had grown accustom to it where as the RAF test pilots were not. So therefore I would probably have to agree with the findings of the RAF test pilots. Probably high speed manoeuvres where high load of forces are on the ailerons and elevators

Ok so since the 2.8 update installing this the way the OP suggests doesnt pass IC anymore and i get kicked of 4YA for the client being tainted. Someone has suggested doing via the saved games folder but i cant work out how to do the correct path. any help would be greatly appreciated as this mod is essential for me. Thanks
