  3. That was very fun but also I was frustrated at my performance. I've watched all the previously released streams for this event and always thought what could have been done better, yet I fell before Gazelles like a daisy in a hurricane. I have to admit as well, as it's wearing on my conscience, that I may have accidentally cheated. I was flying a Ka-50 and some time during the match, my mind flipped from "3 lives attackers, 4 lives transport" to "4 lives attackers, 5 lives transport," and I think I respawned one additional time. I only realized it after I checked out for the evening and I feel really bad about it. I understand and accept any consequences for participating in future rounds.

  5. Hi all, I am trying to make a mission where the player will, using a utility helo, embark troops and then take them to a ship (a carrier in this instance) and then the units will disembark. It seems that troops will not disembark on a carrier, so I am now trying to make it so the troops embark the player's helo but when the player lands on the carrier, the troop group will deactivate, thus emptying the helo's cargo and displaying a "you did it!" message. However I can't figure out a good set of triggers to get this to work reliably. I have tried using UNIT INSIDE MOVING ZONE and attaching the zone to the carrier but it didn't work. I have tried using UNIT flight parameters (VERTICAL SPEED, ALTITUDE HIGHER/LOWER THAN, etc) but this also has not worked it seems. Does anyone have any practical suggestions on how to get this reliably working? Please don't suggest MOOSE, CTLD, or anything of the sort. I have spent hours trying to work with them and understand them and I always come up short. It's much easier for me to just work through triggers--maybe later I will get to understanding those things. Thank you!
  6. EDIT: I realized I had a very old version of MIST (1.1) so I updated. Now the script works, although it only spawns one unit in the group, not the whole group) I'm trying for my first time with MIST and having some trouble. I can't figure out what the problem is. I have MIST loaded successfully, then I want to have a group (of soldiers) cloned in a Trigger zone. I had a DO SCRIPT trigger set up with the following: What I get back is this: I don't know what I'm missing and searching this thread didn't give me any answers unfortunately. Can anyone help?

  8. Hi all, I'm learning the Su-25T and I'm seeing a lot of tutorials online where people are using the Su-25T with an English cockpit and HUD. I downloaded and installed Devrim's English 25T cockpit and everything looks great but my HUD is still all in Cyrillic! This is especially annoying when I am doing SEAD and I have no idea what the radar contacts I have are because they are abbreviated in Cyrillic and everyone has lists of what they are called according to NATO (Latin) standards. Can anyone help me understand where to find the English HUD for the SU-25T?
  9. That's a nice list there. Besides a proper modern American attack helo to rival the Ka-50, I'd love to see the MH-60 in the game. It's a great multirole helicopter and with the ESSS/hardpoints mounted it can use rockets, mounted miniguns, and even ATGMs. I think it would really appeal to people who want something higher tech than the Huey and Mi-8 but not as attack oriented as the Ka-50.
  10. Well Hell's bells, I finally have an answer for why my generators fail during less-than-perfect landings I try to make. I was wondering what was causing my generators to fail and it turns out it was my low RPMs on account of suddenly putting in a lot of collective to make sure I didn't smash into the ground. Thanks for the tips guys, this is super useful to newbies like me who don't know why certain things happen sometimes. So when the generators cut out due to insufficient RPM, can you toggle them back on or are they busted?
