This looks amazing. I'm working on my own and trying to figure out how to do the throttle grip. I see the Pot sticking into the top, but I'm struggling to understand how it's connected to the cork handle. Any chance you could break that open and upload some closer pics of how that attaches and works? Awesome work, BTW.

After Database Reset I show 966 commands again. Not clear on what happened or if this is the proper number, but it's certainly working better... Thanks!

I don't think I reset my licenses. They still all show. What page on the Manual is the export/delete process? I'm glad to walk through it. Or is it posted somewhere else?

VAICOM beeping as it recognizes commands, but very few make it to the sim. After poking around, I noticed that my Editor Tab has a very limited set (29) of Command Phrases that does not match what is in the VoiceAttack Profile (502 items..) When I Export the list in Editor, it generates the same very limited keywords.txt and on Finish, the Clipboard to copy into VA only has these same 29. Somehow my Keyword List on my Editor Tab has lost 95% of my commands. How do I convert the VA list back into Command Phrases for import? Or is there a simpler way? VAICOM_Export_keywords.txt VA_Profile_Keywords.txt

I had this problem last night as well. After I opened up my PTT button assignment and reapplied it, it snapped back to default behavior. Something funky in the PTT button mapping layer I'd imagine. I did not have logs turned on at that time.

Latest Changes (p.9) does not include any changes after 11 July 2021. Significant changes to manual and F16 capabilities have been integrated (Ground Radar for example) and is not documented here. Please make this either a Latest Changes which accurately reflects major update history, or a document version index and provide context to what has changed between doc revs.

You can search for the AH-64 Dash 10 manual which should have more than enough.

Is this still working for folks? Seems like only buttons 1-32 are being detected in sim now for me. Can't tell if it's a Windows Update or a Sim change. Or maybe I broke something? But I haven't changed anything...

Additonal: Same problem trying to assign Keyboard.

In VR, while trying to set up controls for VR in 'UI Layer' group, I select VR Zoom and select a joystick to assign a button. The normal Button Assignment screen appears and then, over the top of it, an additional window pops, called "Collect unit profile commands". No further inputs or mouse clicks are effective. Cannot cancel, continue, or select anything. I have to crash out DCS to get back control. Mouse moves and clouds still render (and rotate), but UI Layer is completely frozen. Repeated twice. Have not tried again. Let me know if you need additional details. dcs.log

New VR User. Always TrackIR before. New VR Rig: HP Reverb G2 Whenever I spawn into main menu, the SU-27 is ENORMOUS and VR Menu is clipping into my view. I have to move away from my desk .5 meters or more to see the menu. Can never see whole menu in range of my keyboard/mouse. I assume this is a FOV problem or something similar/simple. Does anyone have a clue how I can push the main menu back? I can't see anything to select it while sitting close to my desk. (and maybe not have me stand quite soo close to the default jet?) Thanks!

I like the idea. It's really hard to see the lights. An optional overlay showing the lights would be helpful for some of us.

Same. Worked earlier in the day. Login works for Standalone Server, but not Steam version of client.

This seems like a reasonable compromise. It'd be odd to not even turn the system on, even though it's part of the startup checklist.

When flying in NAV Master Mode, when I select the DED HUD repeater switch on the Right Console, nothing shows under FPM and other data until I change the page. I don't get channel numbers or steerpoint data until I change pages and DCS left. Unsure if happens with Cold Start. TRK attached. Let me know if you need anything else. LastMissionTrack.trk

When loading into cockpit anytime except Cold-Start, it would be appropriate to have the HMCS enabled (or even optionally) so that I don't have to find the damned dial at the start of every mission. Is it not typically used everyday?

Why do people prefer the TSUBA so much? I have my stock Cougar HOTAS with HE upgrades and external pedals, and I couldn’t be happier. Is there something special about the TSUBA that makes it different and better?

I love my Cougar. The ANT knob is not working well in the sim (there’s some spikes in mine but I think there’s something off about their control evaluation too) and the Range Knob is useless. That said the experience is still amazing. You’ll be glad with the upgrades (especially if you move to Hall Effect websites) and I absolutely suggest you use an alternative set of pedals than running through the Cougar. It’s amazing though.

Pg 102: Step 3 & 5 (Both indicate same step) - AR Status Lights: Description indicates direct communication with refueling crew. This should be referencing Hot Mic switch on Comms panel as separate step. Image shows Disconnect lights instead of Lighting panel.

CCP often forgets that I’ve chosen to use my RDR cursor instead of my rudder pedals. Since Windows Directx supports only 8 axes you get to choose. I have to open CCP and Apply Config every time restart Windows.

Not a bug, but a request: I'm one of those that likes to print out my manuals, but everytime there's a revision, I have to print everything out instead of just the section that changed to keep my page numbers synced. Can the page numbering move to a Section-Page number format instead of a straight-through numbering? That would allow me to only print out the section of the manual that changed instead of the whole thing. I know it's minor but it makes sense to me. :) Mod feel free to Delete if not appropriate place, but wanted to give feedback and make the request. Thanks!

Yeah that’s fair. But they also have a boost in their butt when the afterburner kicks on. This is one of those things where sim vs reality is hard to get right. I’ll wait for the detent sound to see if it’s sufficient before pushing more. Thanks NineLine.

Can we get a boost to the audio of the actual Afterburner sound? I'd think that would be pretty clearly audible inside the cockpit, along with the increased G's and general rattling of the cockpit. As it is, the sound is so quiet I can barely tell it's engaged without looking at the fuel flow. TL;DR: A click when it passes the detent is nice, but I'd love to hear the burner more.

Ok. So I absolutely SWEAR that the Special for Joystick category wasn’t there. I had a screenshot showing it missing and had looked multiple times. Now it’s there and the button works as advertised. Baffled but thankful and happy. Thanks folks!
