  1. Looking good man! Awesome stuff!
  2. Sorry something else entirely, thought we were talking about the visual effect in game.
  3. Isn't there a toggle key command for that? I think its left shift-J (in BS at least probably the same in FC2).
  4. Definitely think that labels off are the way to go but they're great when learning too, even if they can teach bad habits.
  5. I think the best bet for ATC would be real people taking control of ATC sorta like VATSIM. In the future maybe someone could make an addon module that simulates a radar and line of sight from say the Control tower. Of course finding someone to fill that role would probably be next to impossible. But VATSIM does it. I do have to admit my own knowledge of VATSIM is very limited and I'm probably way over my head already LOL! EJECTING!!!!!!!
  6. Oh yeah a must because of the pre-assigned controls! Should have just saved the relative input files before the reboot.
  7. Awesome work Mustang, you've really transformed the scenery!
  8. Awesome thanks for sharing!
  9. What a cliffhanger can't wait to see how the sim looks!
  10. There is nothing to compare the Warthog HOTAS other than commercial type A/C sim controls and the Cougar. I think they've gone above and beyond just making something other than a X52 style HOTAS. Sorry guys I'm derailing the train here back on topic. New tanker model mentioned, wonder if this includes new behavior and truly functional online refueling OPs? It works now but it leaves a bit to be desired. Love the new ground AI routines thanks ED it's great to experience the engine/series grow and mature. Can't wait for this one, the Hog is one my all time favorite modern attack a/c!
  11. Droooooooool^^! The most awesomest thing eeeeeveeeer!
  12. Bucic is more than likely right. Like it or not there is almost always (and probably will be) an option to disable such effects so it's really not an issue.
  13. I would have to agree with other (my own opinion) that it would just be easier to build a new mission utilizing the new features. Of course I'm not the type of builder that spends a week let alone a month on a mission, so that said, I understand those concerns too.
  14. ^Not really FO has a small team and no end in sight for now. Hardly a mystery at the moment!
  15. We will have training rounds for all weapons but not sure how they'll work yet.
  16. :megalol:^Name change to Digital Ace Combat A10C arcade point and shoot simulator? Oh the humanity.........
  17. I've since upgraded to a 720p hi def projector and can tell you its worth it I now fly at 1600x1200 and the difference is amazing. And the projector was cheap still lol^^^!
  18. Wow theres a lot of good stuff in that article and video thanks!
  19. They'll be great for the simulated 5 hour ferry flights!
  20. No way of telling how close to max you'll be able to run it until either the game itself is released or testers can discuss those details with a final build of the game. Everyone wants to know the same info you're after but it's still too early to get accurate info regarding performance. Like Cat mentioned you'll most likely be able to play with respectable settings and performance based off your specs. As for bottlenecking the usual culprit in simulations is the CPU not the graphics. There is far more numbers being crunched that graphics being processed!
  21. New Updates to the DCS engine are supposed to apply to the DCS series so I'd think that's a big yes AFAIK!
  22. And back to the west where we lost map area before. I thought that area was interesting.
  23. T-800 Forum Terminator!:megalol:
  24. I'm fine with the adjustments they made, just wish they gave me the options I used to have to adjust things to my preference. Realistic is all good when your in a REAL A/C but in my sims I like a little bit of Hollywood in the sound. I like hearing my engines, mechanical surfaces and cockpit/weapon noises to be heard. When you're own a cross country flight (RL) in say a 737 you can hear the jet wind down power to engines you can hear the flaps go down and the landing gear thud. You can also feel those sounds, which is why I like the Hollywood sound since it makes up for what you can't feel in the sim or your buttkicker system!
