  1. I would do that , but in his FlightPanels thread he states that he is not going to do anymore with flightPanels. So, looks like I'm at a dead end as far as my PZ70 and DCS A-10 C. Thanks
  2. Thanks for your reply. I can't find any information as to how to code the formulas and what should be the hook to the areas in the PZ70 that connects the panel directly to DCS-BIOS. For me there seems to be no no commands available that you can pull up from some sort of a library. I appears that there must a sort of database that could be added too for the blanks you would want to fill in. If there is some sort of noobie tutorial that would help me try different commands to a library, I would try to teach myself how to put this all together. I know this is not a thing that a lot of folks need, but I already have the panels left over from my FSX days and they are really convenient to have right there in front of of my main screen. Anyway thanks again and if you are a coder maybe you could point me in the right direction. 'Gards GrizzW, CS Bearclaw
  3. Posted this on the Flightpanel thread and I guess it is dead. Will try here. Have been working on this for at least 3 weeks so far. I can't figure out or find documentation in regard to the interface between DCS-Bios/Flightpanel and PZ70 Saitek Multi-panel. Have DCS-Bios, Flight panels installed and working with 2 Saitek PZ65 radio panels. Have altitude working on PZ70 Multipanel, but can't get VS working. I can't seem to be able to get VS working. I only get what seems to be "raw" data from DCS-bios on panel. Also can't figure out how to program the buttons working as well. ie: ALT,VS, etc. Any ideas or pointers toward information on how to program the interface would be appreciated.

  5. Thanks, Striker, Yes, it was 1.54. I think what's most important, is anything outside DCS, such as another driver outside , installed and maybe something not listed in the "Controls" of DCS, could still have some kind of influence on your install of DCS. I know for me that was what led me to figuring out what my problem was. Keep searching and the Device Driver screen in Win might just show something up. Good luck, Kind Regards, GrizzW CS: Bearclaw
  6. I wanted to share with you what has happened in regard to my trim issues on DCS. Nothing seemed to work in trying to solve the "no trim" problem. The following "MAY or MAY NOT" solve your problem, but here goes: Trim suddenly stopped. Tried everything I could think of (I'm a noob). First thing was, I was sure that the problem was with DCS. After all it was the program that wasn't working. So --- I found in DCS controls, an unknown control listed called "V-joy". No problem, just deleted anything in that column. No change. Found the listing in the DCS config file, deleted it there. Still no change. Thought for sure that that would get rid of it. Nope. No deal. Played around with things like repair. Still couldn't find a change. Well, to make the story a little shorter, what I figured out was, the problem was not with DCS at all. When you install DCS it picks up all of the device drivers that are installed in your system at that time. I find out that "V-Joy" is a third party, so called "Bridge driver" for a USB device. Don't have any idea where it came from or how it got there. Tracked it down through the device driver screen, found it, then deleted it and BOOM! trim now works. Please, if you're having trouble, remember that a driver that's loaded and not even used, might be the problem. Trim would not work. Even key strokes or even the emergency HH wouldn't work. So, it could be not even connected to your DCS World, but can be the thing that is interfering with your A-10 C. Just wanted to follow up with my problem in hopes that it might help someone else. Kind Regards, GrizzW CS: Bearclaw.
  7. Thanks Sage. yep, was on the tube several weeks before I made the decision to buy the A-10 C.
  8. Thanks, I'll work on and report back. G
  9. @Gliptal: Please remember that I am brand new to DCS and the A-10. I have lots of flight sim experience so I don't feel completely lost, but with this system and plane I am just starting out. If you would be kind enough to point me to the proper instruction/documents that you just pointed out, or possibly explain a little more in detail, I would try to get it figured out. Thanks for your post and appreciate any help you might send my way. Kind regards, Grizz Wallace CS:Bearclaw

  11. Just a quick update. Okay, got system up and running, now can do ramp starts and am starting to study. and joined and practice a little bit with the 75th. They are helping out a lot in the "Get Started" operation. @SnorreSeimer: Near KBFI Do have quick question: Been looking into UltraMFCD. Are they still in business? Downloaded it, but must have installed in the wrong place. Anyway, still can't get it to work. Freezes DCS on mission screen. Any thoughts? Thanks G CS:Bearclaw
  12. @Striker, copying the DLL'sto the bin folder seems to have worked. Training mission 1, works now all the way through. able to pause and restart the video using "Pause" key works just fine. It appears that I may be on my way. "I'll be back" Now feel I have something to work with. Thanks to all. G
