  1. The WMR pushes 60% more pixels than the rift.
  2. Hey. Ive also got the acer headset and 2.5 just hangs during mission load and eventually crashes regardless of settings. Hopefully someone at ED can take a look at MR support.
  3. Once I close the calibration window, the joystick defaults to it's default behavior as seen in the video. This behavior persists as default even without logitech profiler installed. Ive opened the stick and checked the gears that connect to motors and they have no wear. Flying with the calibration window open isnt possible since the calibration window sends adverse FFB effects to the stick with each button press. Any ideas will be appreciated :joystick:
  4. Hey guys! I have a problem with setting up a g940 stick: Windows 10 64 bit logitech profiler and driver are latest 5.10.127 Firmware is latest 1.42 The issue im having is that with the ac adapter plugged in, the joystick does violent snaps when moved into corners(combined X and Y movement) The only way ive found to alter this behavior is to keep the calibration window open and put the centering spring force on 30% or less:
  5. Will ed store keys bought in russia with rubles, activate outside russia?
  6. Correct. That is not to say that the vive wikl be a subpar experience, but strictly for dcs/racers, definitely go for the rift. A good aftermarket 980 should be fine. You might also get away with some degree of supersampling.
  7. Labels are still on the table, just saying. They can also be configured to be very unobtrusive. I doubt a cv1 user with 1.6 pixel density, and light labels will find it impossible.
  8. IMHO there is no point in going beyond 2xMSAA on an Nvidia card. You have an option in controll panel to add MFAA on top of MSAAx2 for a MSAAx4 result for MSAA 2x performance. The rest should be handled by your pixel density settings. Other things i'd tune down first would be the shadows and civ traffic.
  9. Personally id love an early access sooner than later just to have f-14 carrier landing training occupy us for a looong while ;D
  10. http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/articles/raw-data-released-performance-accelerated-by-nvidia-vrworks The first title to use NVIDIA VRWorks’ Multi-Res Shading is on the way and it is perhaps the most interesting feature: Nvidia claims around 30% framerate increase using NVIDIA VRWorks’ Multi-Res Shading. Both maxwell 2.0(970,980,980TI) and Pascal Gpus support this technique. One wonders how hard such implementation of nvidia libraries would be in DCS world, as it would allow to push pixel density setting even further :joystick:
  11. You are swapping maxwell flagship for a pascal middle tier card for 15-20% performance increase at best of times. Do note that DCS doesent use nvidia vr works, hence doesent use SMP. Also fun fact: 980ti also hardware supports an SMP method, but nvidia pretends like they never mentioned it in the whitepapers. Assuming a VRvworkd supported title does come out, Your 980tis should also see a performance increase.
  12. Asynchronous Time Warp. Its a software solution that reducrs jitter on lower and unstable framerates. It is a must for dcs.
  13. Ofc they want to unite the goddamn versions already and get an easier workflow :smilewink:
  14. Thanks for the input! How readable is the HUD for you with pixel density cranked? can you read the MFD's without having to glue your face to them?
