i7 and dcs Hi...before you buy the i7 try your motherboard maximum memory capability i have on my motherboard 32 Gb....dont forget DCS runs on top of Windows that takes lot of memory if it has lot of installed programs....

A Fast PC.... Thanks guys for all the answers but i do not want to repeat myself all over again so search my message "A Fast PC..." title in the PC and software sub forum.

A Fast PC... Well a fresh install is the first step to a fast PC but you need all those other programs like Office and others so the solution is fresh install with only DCS and VirtualBox from Oracle or VMware Workstation or VirtualPC from Microsoft to use Linux for browsing the net and windows XP Virtual Machine for Office and other great software...if you dont know what is Virtual Machines software just search on it. My PC has only Windows 8.1 Pro DCS Windows store apps and VMware Workstation 12 Pro...remember Virtual Machines require virtualization cpus has core i7 and others to fast speed Virtual Machines. With this configuration windows 8.1 runing almost has a fresh install... DCS is fast because you can shutdown virtual machines and run only windows 8.1 as i do.

I have a clean windows installed.... to play games.... and virtual machines to do the rest.My nvidia is a GTX 750 with 2 Gb Memory to play on a gaming monitor with Full HD 1920x1080 24 size and a core i7 4790... i think this is enough...isnt possible to adapt DCS to specs?..thanks.

FC4 Hi to all....i think FC4 should have new jets. There are plenty out there to choose from and since it will be simplyer jets make it the new ones like the F-22 Raptor.... beautifull and simple.... For one day in the future to make it esasier to have a F-22 Full Simulation.:doh:

32 Gb for DCS Do not forget Windows uses a lot of cache memory to speed things up...so go for the maximum memory that your motherboard permits.

FC3 models I think there should be both "Worlds" easy to learn models and real models...because to became a pilot you have start with simple models first.
