Thanks for the reply...I havent messed with log files in ages, hopefully this is what we need. My quick startup routine -battery on -apu cover up, apu start -rshift home, ralt home nothing from here...throttles move to idle visually, and my throttle binding still works visually... Also, autostart does not work. Thanks dcs.log debrief.log

I cant get either engine to start. Autostart doesnt work either, and hangs up at "waiting for EGI". I started my flying session by front seating another D, then tried to start one up. Tried restarting and repairing - no luck. Thanks

Just wanted to bump this obscure lil thread here...in case anyone ends up forgetting how much fun Polychop has given some of us. Im as bummed as anyone about not hearing anything for a while on the Kiowa - I love LIGHT military helis - but these guys took on an extreme challenge in their goals and have the same passion as their customers. Just wanted to say.

I was about to post a question about the AH1Z mod - glad to see this discussion and that it's in the works. We had a great time with the AH6J in the AO mods server over the weekend. Thanks to whoever is hosting that. Ive been wanting to fly the Little Bird in multiplayer forever. Also wondering if I could be of use to anyone regarding 3d modeling. I work in Solidworks, and could export STLs or the like if that would be helpful. I know Autodesk is typically used though, and I don't have any experience in that.

I could swear that after the last update, the gaz FM changed. I thought it was my imagination, since I could find no info about it on the forums or update description. Then, someone on a multiplayer server said there was indeed a change...? He said it was something about trying tech from the Kiowa. Honestly, it just feels sluggish and overall much worse. Will someone please fill me in here?

Unpopular Opinion: Release the Kiowa soon, before it is completely finalized. For all we know, everyone with a triple-digit IQ could be locked in a gulag by that point. FM, basic weapons, I'm good to go.

Yes, I wish we had a heli server set up in Normandy. Its an amazing map down at treetop level. You should check out that drummer's channel...Only for those with discerning tastes, apparently...LOL

We need solid and reasonable time frames for the Gaz update and the Kiowa release. These endless years of being strung along are F-ing ridiculous.

The update mentioned that the Mi24 would be the "next helicopter" to come to DCS. Does this mean it will be released before the Kiowa? That would be surprising - the Kiowa is already being demo'd on livestreams and we haven't seen an exterior model for the Hind...

Hello I was wondering if anyone has any experience with Virpil's re stocking day. Tomorrow they are supposed to re stock at 11 am my time, and I'm wondering how close to that time I actually will need to order. I don't want to miss out, but also don't want to take the little break off work if they aren't very punctual about it... I'm torn between the Warbird grip and Mongoose, and planning on getting the Warbird base and desk mounts. Hope to replace my x52 throttle and pedals eventually, too. Thanks

Polychop has admitted that the FM needs a major overhaul. Appeals to experts are fraught with all kinds of biases and ingroup/outgroup signaling, politics, etc. No one who claims the FM is good will address the basic issues with the cyclic dynamics, on-rails tracking, etc. If it wasn't for the fanboys and people with really low standards being so vocal, we might have a decent one by now, who knows.

Hi Quigon, I'm pretty sure I tried doing fuel+flare request at once and separately. I can experiment with that later. Does having the engine running/doors open affect this? I had side doors open. Thanks for your help Scarecrow
