My only hope for FC4 is that it adds capable Russian/Redfor aircraft. If full fidelity is impossible for modern russian aircraft as has been hinted at plenty of times, then FC4 might be the only chance they have to make some russian planes.

Me and my friends have been really liking this server but unfortunately it seems the web page is no longer working? Without the web page it is very hard to get an idea of the current situation. Any news on if you are working on brining it back up?

Multiple reports on multiple servers. Yesterday I hit an F-15 with 4 R-60's all back to back, and he was undamaged. A guns burst ripped him apart. Today I hit another F-15 with a pair of R-60's from the SU-25A, zero damage. After one turn he hit me with an AIM-9 and died instantly. I also had a flight where in an Su-27 I was hit by 3 missiles in rapid succession, zero damage. One turn, R-73 killed the Mirage. I have recordings if needed.

Something broke missiles in this patch. Yesterday I hit an F-15 with all 4 of my r60's, zero damage. Burst of cannon killed him. Just now i went head on with f-15 again, this time in an Su-25A and hit with both R-60's, zero damage. After one circle his AIM-9 killed me in one hit. Couple of days ago I was flying Flanker and got hit by 3 missiles, zero damage.

Hmm, how did ED create its WWII modules without making a civilian prop plane first?? I don't understand how something like that could be possible :^)

I don't see them making their money back on this. And with the amount of time it takes for modules to be made, I can't help but think they wasted a year or two on this, when they could have made something that people will actually buy.

I hope you guy add Christen Eagle II slots to both sides. It would be also nice if you add aerobatics safe spaces, similar to have ground attackers have their own safe space. S!

Did they really hype up an aerobatic bi-plane for Digital Combat Simulator? I refuse to believe that.

MiG-29 got an update to the cockpit lighting, which is something I've been waiting for eagerly. The issue was that the instrument lighting and the flood light would both turn on, making flying at night almost impossible due to the brightness of the flood light. The latest update fixed this issue by only turning on instrument lighting, but this only works on the S. The MiG-29A's cockpit lighting looks totally wrong. This aircraft setup is what I've wanted for literally 2 years now.... but not on Nevada. God damn it.

I am guilty of this with both the Su-27 and MiG-29. MiG-29 famously has those fluttering louvers also, really hope they add that little detail some day because right now they close and are perfectly static for the entire flight. Its a minor visual thing that probably is more work than its worth, but I would love it.

You sure about that? Because the news letter mentioned quite a bit more than just the flight model. Air-Refuel mode, auto throttle, and terrain avoidance to name a few.

What if it was a ruse. Razbam couldn't discuss cancellation of MiG-23 due to NDA. The NDA either means 1: someone else is making it or 2: russia wont let us make any planes so don't tell anyone or the community will be mad.

Maybe not, but they've confirmed they have a module that is nearing the end of its work. You make it sound like they've been doing nothing. Something is coming.

MiG-23 is a simple aircraft when compared to most other modules. The fact that it was supposedly developed in such short time makes the MiG-23 a good guess, as it is so similar. Again, it's most likely not a MiG-23, but there is some decent evidence towards it 1: They made the MiG-21 and it shares so many systems with MiG-23 2: They finished it fairly fast, so it would make sense for it to be something that is very similar to the 21 3: They said they will be doing one eventually, all though this was almost 3 years ago 4: MiG-23 mod and Razbam module were mysteriously shut down with the reason being locked behind an NDA

18 months isn't quick to you? MiG-21 took 4 years, and the F-18 has been going for god knows how long.

Things change though.

I know they said they aren't doing it, but I really hope its just a ruse. It shares 80% of systems with the MiG-21, they said they'd do one eventually, and I don't see what other module they could have developed so quickly with nobody knowing what it is.

I hate to keep complaining about skins and liveries, but flying the MiG-21 makes it almost impossible to visually IFF between US and Israeli F-15's. The game already has aggressor skins that are impossible to mistake, is there any reason red doesn't use them for example? That way US and Israeli F-15's can fly on one side which makes more sense? For most other aircraft this isn't an issue, as the liveries used are pretty different for both sides, but for the F-15 (the most flown aircraft) being the same causes huge headaches for those fighters that can't IFF using equipment instantly.
