I would not worry too much yet. So far DCS F1 radar is just a place holder for the time being... so indeed it does not resemble any proper radar behaviour of F1 radar

I think that Omnibearing is used only in Radio navigation. Using trim hat (0.8deg in pitch, 2deg in az; new heading if longer hold) is to make fine corrections under AP however if used in active Radio navigation it should disengage from it to normal AP.

In DCS for Autopilot to engage, you need to press and hold the autopilot pallet in control stick as you press the autopilot button. Not idea if that reflects the real procedure

I hope there will be better CRT display simulation as currently looking at the video and screenshots, lack of it makes it feel too cartoonish ...

In latest Open Beta, using VR, VTB displayed image is hard to see as it visible only at very limited angle. What is worse is that since each eye has different picture it can introduce nausea...

I have searched topics and was unable to find this info... I noticed also in latest youtube video that while trajectory is being reworked, the single fire was still used. Per documentation, rockets were always fired as salvo to minimize the recoil induced problems. What they did to get better spread is to use different setting for fuze timer. Suggested deviation was to have around 50m delay in detonation. This is the same for 190A8 as is for 190D9. Documentations for timer settings was provided in other wgr21 topic in last post, the salvo is in the attached images...

The problem I see is that there seems to be a dual pulse instead of single. I was experimenting and if I reduce the impulse to lower number as a walkaround of that dual thrust boost, I am able to increase fuse timer and can achieve trajectory which will explode shell in the more realistic location....

Bump.... all planes are out of EA now for quite some time, yet majority of weapons still do not work correctly at all... Come on ED, you can do this...

I tried my own as none is available on dcs site since it does not work... followed the same procedure as I have some other pits which are working fine.

First this is not only in A8, but I do not want to spam every ww2 bird. One can create folder in saved games and select in DCS under options the custom cockpit, however it is ignored once you enter the simulation and thus original textures are used. This is already present for several months if not a year
