  1. Not sure really. All AI ground units seem to manage Caucasus pretty well, but the other maps cause them all manner of problems, such as driving into buildings then getting stuck, etc. Is an old problem too BTW, was reported ages ago already when NTTR was first released. Alas, no word from ED so far.
  2. Huh? And I kind of thought everyone were. Because for the otherwise inclined, there're various "preflight checklist: press I" flying games available.
  3. Would buy either in a bloody microsecond. No EA though, complete modules only.
  4. Yes you can. And most fights are on the deck only because most people are clueless furballers.
  5. You offer nothing quantifiable and thus nothing verifiable either, you just complain about something not feeling right. Do you expect ED to change anything based just on that?
  6. Eh... what exactly should be reported? I've no idea what you mean.
  7. No, it's you. Practice some more and you'll get the hang of it.
  8. It'll affect all German and 3rd Reich AC. LeCuvier, thank you for sharing those ground crew files, was exactly what was needed
  9. No, the plane's OK. You just haven't flown too many realistic sims before, it seems.
  10. I don't think it's the torque per se, but the rudder. The 4 Horsemen Mustang team mentioned it being too sensitive and effective years ago already and I tend to agree. As much as some folks hate curves, I use 30 on the rudder and it does help a lot. I've obviously never flown a real P-51 - and never will - but suffice it to say regardless that those 30 curves at least feel pretty convincing and the overall behaviour seems in line with the anecdotes I've heard. YMMV of course, but at least give it a try if you're not preconceived ;)
  11. Yes I'll bother. Because regardless of your quals, you need to read at least the POH if you're in an AC you've never flown before, real or virtual. EDIT: So you _did_ read at least part of it? Well I'll take the above back then ;)
  12. Thanks for informing us Newy
  13. Likewise. Want to see the Yak and the Anton finished first before purchasing any more AC.
  14. Which is why I said maybe ;) But you're right, even those should be rare occurrences.
  15. Disagree. The guns just aren't powerful enough and AFAIK even APCs and such have armor-plated fuel tanks. Mobility kills maybe when you get, say, all the tyres on one side and render them immobile, but that's about it.
  16. Check out the following post. You probably won't have the strength to move the control surfaces by sheer force if the hydro system is not pressurized, which is probably why it's modelled the way it is. https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3821405&postcount=5 EDIT: Changed my comment completely because the original was all wrong. My apologies.
  17. The last patch brought the old trees back. It was mentioned in the changelog as well I think.
  18. Hmmm... no idea really, and what follows may be daft. Still, the controls are hydraulically operated, meaning you need engine power for them to work. Have you started at least one engine before using them?
  19. This may well be and I'm not disparaging your RL experience/expertice in the slightest. However, having flown the DCS machine a lot by now, I'm not actually finding her hard to land at all - anymore ;) :D The thing is, you've got to know how to handle her. And experience does make a difference, even in this cozy bubble of ours where no-one gets hurt for real. Anyway, a big S! for your comments. They're the real thing and I do appreciate them - and you, as a RL Hip driver - a lot. So an S! again and sunny skies to you mate.
  20. You inexactly claim there're none when there's the Mi-8. If that thing has bugs they're so insignificant that I haven't noticed them.
  21. No, of course you should be able to continue using what you've purchased already. I was talking about brand new content only.
  22. I think he's talking about the cockpit Devrim made a couple of years ago. AFAIK the default English CP is the same exact mod, but an earlier version than the one available here. So both are actually made by Devrim IIRC. Devrim, can you confirm? Or am I talking carp again?
  23. If this hypotethical A/C is something listed or promised in the original v1.0 release notes, you've got a point. If not, you don't. So if there's an upgrade consisting of completely new content ED hasn't mentioned before, you'll just need to pay or do without. Pretty simple and straightforward when you think about it, isn't it?
  24. Suppose you buy a new car without A/C. Then say half a year later you change your mind, contact the dealer again and request an A/C retrofit. Should that be free as well?
  25. Not a supported loadout due to how the circuitry is wired I'd guess.
