hi, just happened in an F-14.. view of log below.. Was working fine for a while .. TX5 triggered txmt for ICS and release stopped it.. it then just reversed it.. TX press stop transmission and TX release resumes. ICS is set to cold mic. Mutley looks like here where the switch around occured

Hi all, got a strange one I can't get to the bottom of. During flight the function of the PTT switches seem to flip around.. they start with the PTT switch being pressed recognised as TX START but then will switch that around so that PPT switches pressed is TX END.. and then 5 mins later will switch it around again. Radio 5 (ICS on F-14) binding from Voice Attack below... Any ideas? Ta..

Well that was a tough but very enjoyable campaign with the latest version of SkyNet AI.. near 7 weeks, thought we had RedFor on the backfoot at least 4 times only to be pushed back via land, sea and air assets, including SkyNet throwing small nuclear scuds at our bases in desperation. Really enjoy this server and it is really unique.. no 2 session are the same, you never know what SkyNet is planning and she's mean.. she even picks out high impact players as key threats and comes after you.. mean, mean mean. Great combination of all aspects of DCS - Airframe, Helo's, Combined Arms (very important part of the arsenal and ground units fully controllable), Logistics and more. Would recommend giving the server a go to anybody.. its open to all and you can dip in and out as much as you like.

Hi, all Trying to get to grips with Vaicom with AIRIO.. most things work ok but I can't seem to get the Radio Tune option (manual tuning to work). The Radio Tune speech command is recognised but the Voice Attack dialog box return "Radio Tune" Not recognized, as though the Radio Tune command is not a command in the profile, but upon checking it is in there. Also anybody know the command structure - the manual is not clear.. do you say Radio Tune, then pause to wait for the beep and then provide the 6 digit frequency or state the whole command in one - such as Radio Tune 125 Decimal 000? Thanks for the help Mutleyxxx <Although worked out the Scan at Angels below- can't get the manual tune above to work.. other radio tune commands do>> additional to that, also struggling with the Scan Angels command.. anybody got that working.. please see below Thanks again <update to the Scan Angels - worked it out - user error - need to say Scan Sector, Angels <alt> at <distance> .. didn;t realise you need to say San Sector 1st.. >

ahh thanks.. yep its a bit of a pain when in a dogfight with a wingman or 4 ship having to say switch between every transmission.. I'll go for the separate bindings and turn of SRS integration in the Vaicom config. Thanks again

Hi all, newbie question with VAICOM, SRS and Multiplayer if anybody could help. Loving the capability of VAICOM but struggling to understand the logic when using with SRS and multiplayer. SO my understanding based on research is: By default the SRS tx keys and the VAICOM PPT keys are set to the same. When in Multiplayer the only way to have voice tx on over SRS is to say "SWITCH" before speaking? Or have SRS TX and VAICOM PTT switches bound to different to different HOTAS switches? I fly the F-14 a lot so VAICOM is great for RIO voice control, but I also fly mission multiplayer so SRS comms is important also. Thanks for the help.
